Is what almost everyone said and wrote before they actually tried it…..
In just went in June to do a review and can’t believe how good it was.
That Black Swan was amazing! And so was everything else I tried!

But... could it be anywhere near as good as Gideon's Peanut Butter Cold Brew cake?In just went in June to do a review and can’t believe how good it was.

We went there for my daughter’s birthday last year— I was skeptical but thought it would be fun and festive for her (it was, the vibes are definitely tween girl heaven)— but the surprise was that everything we had for dinner was excellent, and 2 of the 3 cakes were incredible. Service was also much better than the median Disney signature spot.In just went in June to do a review and can’t believe how good it was.

Welcome! 250 points is not excessive if you plan on using them at the new tower. So is this where we chat while wiling away the time waiting for RoFR? My wife and I are waiting for Disney to (hopefully) pass on our first contract. According to YouTube we committed to too many points at one resort (250 Poly points) for newbies, but eh, we're excited! We've got a list of stays we want to try, including several at Poly, and it has a longer deed and minimal restrictions.

My first purchase was 450 points! It's totally fine! HahaWelcome! 250 points is not excessive if you plan on using them at the new tower.
I think 250 is fine at the Poly, the point chart in the tower requires at bit more. Gives you lots of flexibility! So is this where we chat while wiling away the time waiting for RoFR? How’s it going with closing on your resale contract? My first purchase was 450 points! It's totally fine! Haha
That was my thinking, with 250 points at one of the more expensive charts, we have a lot of options, and priority at my wife's favorite resort. Of course right after we signed the first of the papers all I can come across are people complaining about Poly tower! I'm not letting it get to me though.I think 250 is fine at the Poly, the point chart in the tower requires at bit more. Gives you lots of flexibility!
If you want to hear complaints you've come to the right place. Forums are by nature negative. The reality is we all love DVC and the memories made on our trips. You won't regret anything about buying in once you start using those points. That was my thinking, with 250 points at one of the more expensive charts, we have a lot of options, and priority at my wife's favorite resort. This makes sense, I'm a natural worrier and this was an expensive (but budgeted and saved for and affordable) purchase for us. So now while I'm waiting to be able to benefit from it, my natural tendency to find faults is in gear. We already have a Universal trip for August booked and a Disneyland trip for February so we are going to bank the 2025 points on the contract and do our first DVC stay in 2026 at Poly, which is a lot of time for me to be out the money and not yet on a trip!If you want to hear complaints you've come to the right place. I am very close to emailing our POA guy and asking if DVC Title and Escrow ever sent him the documents to sign. They told me they got my wire transfer and would 'let me know when they hear from the sellers'. I don't think the sellers are notarizing or signing anything. Everything I've seen on the boards here has been so positive about this title company that I'm surprised we don't have a closing date. How’s it going with closing on your resale contract?

I feel that! I'm in the process of getting my first contract, but it's got a delayed closing and these points are specifically to be banked and borrowed for large family trips (so first use in 2027). I've already got add-on itis cuz i want points now! This makes sense, I'm a natural worrier and this was an expensive (but budgeted and saved for and affordable) purchase for us. Title company received my bank check today and said closing should be completed in 2-3 days. Thanks I appreciate it! If I didn't want to use these points for June I would be way more chill. My husband thinks I'd be a weirdo if I emailed him to just see if they maybe forgot to ask. I'm also a huge worrier but I think 250 will give you a ton of flexibility with types of rooms you can stay in!This makes sense, I'm a natural worrier and this was an expensive (but budgeted and saved for and affordable) purchase for us.
