Not enjoying not having any reservations.

Not enjoying the realization that it's gonna be 18 months till our next trip home. We are going to skip our annual February trip next year and are planning on doing August 2015. It seems so far off. This is the first time in a long time that we do not have a reservation.

I get anxious if I don't have at least 2 trips booked at all times.

You'll feel better when you can actually book your vacation at 11 months.

I'll be right there with you after our upcoming F&G trip. We won't be going again until December 2015. I'm dreading the long wait.

On a brighter note, they should have all of the MDE & FP+ bugs worked out by then.

By the time we go in June it will have been two years and two months! But between one daughter's wedding and one daughter's HS graduation within two weeks of each other (and the graduate going to Spain with school during spring break) there was no way to swing it. But it let our points build back up! Now DH and I plan to do a 3 night trip weekend before Thanksgiving and then spring break. My son may go to Spain but this time I'm still going to Florida!

Our last trip was Aulani in December... after that we purposely planned a long stretch with no trip until 2015 (DS-17 needs to do college visits and such) I really dont like logging onto my DVC account and seeing no trip in the queue!!
Then RunDisney went and added the new DL Avengers Half Marathon in November......
So now we are toying with the idea of doing a long weekend trip for that race. Here I was trying to be good and not book anything, Disney just knows how to pull me back in!

Something here. When we went in Nov. 2013 that was our last trip until March 2015. The kids and everyone, hated and complained it's so far away. We never more then 12 months between trips. How we are getting through it, I told of them to think of it like this. we went in Nov., Dec is Christmas, then we had the kids birthdays days. So by the time April 2014 rolls around we will only have a year. well they survived the first part of waiting. In a month we will be a year away. We are now in our planning stage. So trust me it went by fast, to get to the yr. mark to start counting down.

You can do it use milestones that will happen between now and August to get to your year mark. It helps with the sadness of not planning yet.

If it makes you feel better just make a ressie for FEB and then cancel in Sept to book your AUG trip. AHH makes me feel better I could help.
