My son is turning 3 the day that the cruise departs. I booked myself on the website and was charged half price for him. I very much want to use the kids club!

Will there be an issue?

What you pay has no bearing on your use of the kids club. he should be fine. As long as you put his correct birth date in the reservation DCL will know he will be 3 and using the clubs.

I believe kids' fare for young kids is approximately half-price of the adult fare, as long as they are 3rd/4th/etc. passenger in the stateroom. A child as 2nd passenger (i.e., just 1 adult plus 1 child booked) would be charged full fare. Fare is less for infants (up to age 3) and more for older kids; I believe teens are full fare. As PP said, as long as you put in the correct birthdate for him, no problem.

Enjoy your cruise!

The third and 3rd and 4th passengers are less. Sometimes half, sometimes more like 60- 70% of the full fare. It really depends on the cruise. Teens aren't full fare, but when the turn 13 they are charged a little more. On the Alaska cruise I have booked my soon to be 13 year old is about 50.00 dollars more than my 11 year old. On our upcoming Hawaii cruise my kids will be 11 and 12 and they are the same price.
