We got to sleep in yet another day. We weren't rolling up to the parks some days until 4pm.

But today we got an earlier start as we planned to hit Islands again and Universal.
But we definitely took enough time this trip to enjoy the resort grounds.
That Unbelievable Loews Star Service! Alright, it's Luis..
At Islands, we hit up a few things we missed the day before (Dr. Doom's Fear Fall, Dueling Dragons) and also did some repeats.
Most importantly, we hit Mythos for lunch which we're always really looking forward to. It was of course, another awesome meal. Maria got the Pastabilities which was out of hand good, with alfredo sauce, mushrooms, spinach, sausage, chicken and mozzarella cheese. I had the risotto of the day which was great as usual. Luis had the pad thai with pork and Nisha the pizza of the day. I can't visit Orlando let alone Universal without getting a meal in at Mythos. It's probably my favorite restaurant anywhere.
Me thinking.. "I'll take 1 of each."

Recreating an old picture which I actually used to have as my sig on here.
Completely inappropriate.
Does the shirt look familiar?
After our meal, we headed to Universal for some digestion rides. Haha. First up, Shrek 4-D. Then Twister.. And after that, we were ready for a few rides on the Mummy. I pretended to be choking Maria for the picture which got a few laughs. Pretending.
Recreating scenes from the Mummy movies for guests.
Disaster was literally being evacuated when we walked up so we missed that but then we did Jaws, Men in Black, The Simpsons, and E.T. I wanted to do Terminator but apparently the last show was at 6:00pm on an 8:00pm closing day and I missed it. Make sure to get a park map and check show times which I did not..
If you see these three as your fellow MIB trainees, please ask to be moved to the next car. You will never get Galaxy Defender.
A still from Universal's upcoming E.T. 2: Back in the Habit
Nisha and Luis' Favorite Attraction
Maria's Note: Yeah, I think they rode it 3-4 times
Quinisha's Note: He dragged me there. I only went for moral support.
Maria's Note: More like ORAL support.
We stayed close to park closing and headed back to the resort. For that night we made a reservation at Emeril's Tchoup Chop. I made the reservation early in the day by calling while we were walking to the parks. They kind-of asked a lot of questions like if it was our first time dining there (No..), if anyone in our party had any food allergies (No..), if we were dining there for a special occasion (Yes, Hunger..).
So once we got back to the room we only had a few minutes to relax before getting ready again. Luis didn't bring anything nice to wear but he was able to fit one of my button downs just enough so that he could leave it open. But honestly, the only dress code Emeril's has for men is no sleeveless shirts. Upon walking in, we saw plenty of men in polos and nice shorts.
Nisha picks the absolute most opportune moment to steal a chip.
Also, you'll be happy to know that upon checking out the menu, they've dropped the prices across the board. I guess they're trying to be recession-friendly but comparing it to an older menu, some items were like $5 less this time. That's GREAT news and I hope they can keep it up.
Our meal there was amazing of course and Tchoup Chop and the Kitchen are neck-and-neck for our favorite meals of the trip but Tchoup Chop might have won the edge with an amazing side of Emeril's Fried Rice. Some of the best fried rice we've ever had. And I had no trouble cleaning my plate. Just awesome.

This was our last dinner of the trip and it was a great one.
