Not All Who Wander Are Lost…Unless You’re Waldo. A Julyish PTR. UPDATED AGAIN! 7/28

Thanks for the reminder, I need to get ziplock bags at the store today;)

Um, Um, Um what to say what to say:eek:

Pencil, not packed, not laminated.

I'm in shock, total and complete shock.

I need air, please no crowding, just air:faint:

OK BofA, is a client of ours (Thankfully not mine) and UGH!!!!!:mad: Many of us have pulled personal accounts with them after what we have seen:rolleyes1

For TE:hug: Tell her to come visit me and we can go see Niagra Falls;)

Now normally, Disneyland_Mama would have everyone packed and ready to go at this stage in the game. The plans would be printed and laminated, the plane tickets printed, the crocs cleaned and polished, the airport transportation booked, the ziploc bags marked with dates, stuffed with clothes and stacked in the suitcases. Heck, I'd even have our carry-on bags ready. Yes, at 30-ish days left, I'd be ready to rock.:woohoo:

BUT.

None of the above is even CLOSE to being done. :eek: My plans aren't even on a spreadsheet. They're penciled in a notebook. PENCIL!!! :faint:
Know what I think? I think I've taken yet another DISer down. First it was Kinder, Gentler Lauralee, now it's Penciled and Less-Prepared T.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I'll make a group of slacker relaxers out of ya'll yet! Next thing, you'll be planning copious amounts of pool time. ;)

Note to self, BofA sucks.
Great. :headache: I've been a happy Countrywide customer through 3 mortgages and now it's become a BoA loan. Carp.

We don't have her prognosis yet, as she's scheduled for an MRI this week to see the extent of the damage. We'll just have to go from there.
:hug::hug::hug:

So that's where we are. But should I post our plans? :confused3 Is that like bad juju? Oh heck, let's throw caution to the wind and see what the Waldo family has planned!:cool1:
:rolleyes: As if this is even remotely "final" anyway! :rotfl:

August 1st: Evan's 5th Birthday!!! Rope drop at MK, spend the day with friends, take a mid-afternoon break then meet up at Chef Mickey's for Evan's birthday dinner. **I'll post all his birthday details later**. Then back to MK for some nighttime touring.
:banana::banana::banana:

August 4th: Rope drop at DHS! Lunch with V & LL and families at Sci-Fi. Afternoon break and then dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Then meeting with Michelle, V, & LL for cocktails. Kids to Neverland club.
:banana::banana::banana:

August 6th: Rope drop at AK!
:sad2: :faint:

August 8th: Book 2010 ressies at Kidani Village!! :woohoo:
:cheer2:

You sure have a lot of rope drops planned T
Tell me about it. :rolleyes::headache::rotfl2:

Poor TE. I do hope her knee recovers soon :hug:

Plans look great. I love all the rope drops.

hug: re your mother.
Thanks Heather. :goodvibes
Poor TE! Hope the MRI ends up ok.

I am still sort of reeling from you not being packed yet. yeesh.
You and me both. In fact I think I'm throwing Andy off because he keeps asking me if I want him to pull the suitcases down. :laughing:
Pencil! :scared: Not packed!

Pitiful.

:rotfl2:

The plans look spectacular.

I hope that TE will heal up quickly.
:hug:
:rolleyes1 Yup. Hi, my name is Tracy and I'm a slacker.
T? Pencil? Really? Need I remind you that you are down to something like 40 days? :teacher: Break out those zip lock bags! Pull out the laminating paper! :woohoo: Go to Target for your travel sized goodies! :banana:

Maybe I'll come to California. I think you need an intervention.

;)
:lmao:
Second, :faint:. Not that I pack or prep like you do, but I have certain expectations of you. :rotfl2:
Thanks CE. My brother asked if I'm making pretty itinerary folders for everyone. Probably not. :rolleyes:
Thanks for the reminder, I need to get ziplock bags at the store today;)
:thumbsup2
For TE:hug: Tell her to come visit me and we can go see Niagra Falls;)
Awww, she'd love that, Mo. :)
Know what I think? I think I've taken yet another DISer down. First it was Kinder, Gentler Lauralee, now it's Penciled and Less-Prepared T.
Oh no way! I'll be back - just give me a few. pirate:
Great. :headache: I've been a happy Countrywide customer through 3 mortgages and now it's become a BoA loan. Carp.
Us too, V. Our last refi with Countrywide was cake. BofA was like water torture! I loved Countrywide. RIP. :sad2:

Plans look great. I love all the rope drops.
I am proud to say, we never missed a rope drop in the last 2 years. :thumbsup2 Even though some of us were grossly hung over and ill. :teeth:

(We still haven't decided, TFI. Although I think we're going with the handsome Middle Eastern guy. Yummy!;))
Maybe he'd like to tackle my kitchen when he's finished with yours. ;)

Note to self, BofA sucks.
:sad2: I feel you.

And Mitch laughs at me for carrying my camera everywhere. Never know what needs to be photographed. :rotfl: Glad she's doing ok. :hug:

You sure have a lot of rope drops planned T and are the "meet with friends" LL and V or others?
:banana:

Whoa! Let me dust this thing off! :scared:

There's been some crazy turn of events going on here, and I don't even know where to begin! :faint:

My plans are still in pencil, sort of, but other than that things are moving in a forward motion. That's usually good, right? :confused3

Our countdown calendar is on the move!

Well we got the results of TE's MRI and although it wasn't what we hoped for, we're dealing with it. She was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and she's going to need surgery. Thankfully, not until mid-August! Whew! The doctor gave her a shot of cortisone to ease the pain and he also gave her the green light for Disney. :thumbsup2

So with that, I've had to make some changes. We had planned on renting her a scooter for the parks, but now I've had to contract an outside company so she'll have scooter use 24/7. I've also had to contact the airlines to let them know she'll need assistance from drop off point to the gate. No way she'll be able to crutch it all that distance. She can barely crutch it from the garage to the house... and the garage is connected to the house!:sad2: Coordination is not her strong suit.

I've been in full planning mode this past week. Got all the details taken care of... booked the MK Dessert buffet, booked the airport transportation, set up the mail and newspaper hold, pillaged the travel isle at Target, ransacked Dollar Tree, and ordered yet another VB bag. :thumbsup2

I think I've even got "the plan" all set up. This year I ditched TGM. :guilty: I know, but seriously once you understand his method, it's cake. I went with UG this year for the best days and then enlisted the help of RIDEMAX. I just started listening to the DISunplugged and learned of Pete's positive experience with RIDEMAX at DLR. I thought I'd give it a try this time, but first let V try it out. 'Cause I trust V and I knew if V liked it, I'd like it. Let's just say RIDEMAX passed V's test with flying colors and the rest is history! ;)

I plugged in my plans to Ridemax and **poof** 8 days of plans landed in my hot little hands! :cool1:

Heck, I even pulled out the laminating paper and got my park maps laminated. :teeth: See, I buy a Passporter every year. Not for the information, but for the awesome park maps. ::yes:: This is our 4th trip to WDW, and I'm far from knowing where everything is and I really like the way the Passporter maps are set up. So for me, they're laminating paper worthy. :lmao:

Now I have to somehow figure out how to get the the 4 plastic bins full of stuff packed into 4 suitcases! :eek:

I do have a small surprise, completely off topic.... but I had to share...

I BOOKED THE GRAND CALIFORNIA VILLAS FOR OCTOBER!!!
:dance3::cool1::banana::dance3:

It's actually a surprise for Maddie's 8th birthday! I also bought tickets for Mickey's Trick or Treat Party. I plan to take the kids out of school on the 29th, check into the hotel and head to MToTP that night and then DLR on the 30th for Maddie's actual birthday. I think she's going to love it!

Some pics from our last DLR/DCA trip:

:scared: Poor TE! I volunteer to bring her frosty beverages from the pool bar! :hug:

You can always employ Leo, too. I'll lend him for free! ;)

:cheer2: Know what I just realized? Leo and I will be at WDW for MNSSHP at the same time - it'll be like celebrating together... only 3,000 miles apart, lol!

I've said it before, but :hug: to her and you.

Coordination is not her strong suit.

Mine either. :sad2: ;)

Now I have to somehow figure out how to get the the 4 plastic bins full of stuff packed into 4 suitcases! :eek:

Can you just duct tape the bins and check them? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I'm so sorry for your Mom but pleased the Dr said she can go to WDW!

I so agree!!!

Oh T :rotfl2:

I BOOKED THE GRAND CALIFORNIA VILLAS FOR OCTOBER!!!
:dance3::cool1::banana::dance3:
Wooohoooo fantastic, is that using DVC points?

:hug: to TE. FWIW, my mom had surgery for a torn meniscus in May 07. By July, she was hoofing it all over NYC, and was fine in WDW in December 07.

OK I had all this stuff quoted and it went poof :sad2:

User CP didn't tell me that you did an update:headache:

Glad TE got the okie dokie for the trip!

Love your countdown calender so much better than ours!

I like the main street electrical parade so much more than Spectro (Please don't revoke my Focker membership:flower3:)

You are on your way!

This update looked much better. I am relieved. (Big breath escaping my lungs!)

Yay! for Maddie!

How did I miss this :confused3? So sorry about your Mom, I am so glad you are getting a scooter for her. It is wonderful that you get to go with extended family. I hope we get to see pictures of the Grand California Villas!
