Not All Treasure Is Silver And Gold, Mate - *Update 9-17* P60

You know, I like your idea only because it has me going twice in a row! ;)

Honestly, I don't know what we'll be able to afford, and depending on how progressive this little one is, my feeling was, taking a two year old could be easier. There's the potential that they're potty trained, they're on regular food, and they do get more at that age. That was a great age with my son, but every kid is different. :goodvibes

Oh money, shmoney, with two kids you'll be broke for the next thirty years regardless. Regular food is a huge plus, I forgot about that. My kids were not easy going at any age - 2 and 3 were particularly difficult years. Heck, 12,9, and 6 aren't smooth sailing either. But that's just my neurotic family. I'm just trying to enable you into writing more trip reports!!!:goodvibes

And MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! (I'm dising because I'm trying to stay awake longer than the kids - don't want Santa to fall asleep on the job!)

Well when your gone for so long and come back your sure miss a lot around here. I really hate it when life keeps me from Dising. Hopefully after the holidays it will be better. Congratulations on your little bean!!!!!!! I am so happy and excited for you!!!! I am sorry about the other board I was all excited to read it and then they close it. :headache: I do hope that you will keep us updated either on here or a blog. I am so glad to read about your day together. We want to take a trip just the 3 of us and then start trying too. I am looking forward to hearing more about your day when you can.

Thank you!

And how exciting that you're thinking of trying as well, congratulations. :goodvibes

Yes, you're right! :lmao: We certainly will be broke, although I think perhaps less so if this little bean is a boy considering we already have all that stuff. I'll be happy either way, I just want a healthy kiddo and a healthy me at the end. :thumbsup2

So I see your motives aren't entirely pure, you just want to read more of my trip reports! ;)

Merry Christmas! I hope you had a good one.

What a great time in Tomorrowland!!!! I love that you focused on one land, really taking your time and taking it all in.

You can take your new little one for his/her first birthday.

Another vote for going sooner! :lmao:

We'll see how long I last.

You are a brave soul letting your 4 year old have your camera on a ride!

I LOVE that you had such a perfect day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really went against every OCD quality I possess, but it's one of the most fun pictures from our trip. :goodvibes

What a fantastic morning! I love that you let your DS pick the park and the rides. :goodvibes And how wonderful that the three of you were able to have such a great time together! Your future trips will be so special in their own way, but you're right--you'll never be just the three of you at Disney again. So I'm SOOO happy for you that it was so wonderful!! :thumbsup2

It was really fun to let him hold the reigns. Of course, it didn't hurt that he picked the Magic Kingdom. We had so much fun. I should be getting another update in shortly. :thumbsup2

Hi TK,
Hope you had a great Christmas, and managed to not wear yourself out too much! I hope you enjoyed your last Christmas without having to count up the gifts and make sure Santa brought EXACTLY the same amount of gifts for everyone!:lmao:I'm not kidding, either!
Looking forward to another update, but I know it must be so hard to find the energy right now. I keep trying to remember what I was doing while I'm reading about what you were doing! :goodvibes

I have never ridden the People Mover. I've said it. I think maybe dh would enjoy it, but I haven't done it. Maybe he'll ride it with ds and the girls and I can ride Space Mountain. . . He can tell me what he thinks of it.

I too was a little "freaked out" when going through Space Mountain this year on the People Mover.....it was so different, but we love that ride nonetheless!!!!

What a wonderful day. I love that you really took the time to explore all of the land. My nieces both loved the speedway cars when we were there. It made the long wait so worth it.

Oh, I totally know everything will have to be equal. Although I think I've got a little bit of leeway because the baby really won't know next year. ;)

It is really hard to find the energy to write the updates. I'm actually purchasing my mom's old (only a couple years) laptop, and I'm hoping once I have my own computer that I can sort of lounge in bed with or use at the dining room table, it'll be easier. This desktop is in our living room and I just get tired of sitting here.

I have dreams about curling up with my laptop all snuggled under my covers.

That sounded wrong, but you know what I mean. :lmao:

Aw. :confused3

For the love of Disney, woman. At least once! It's a classic! ;)

Yeah, it was definitely a weird feeling.

The speedway is so much fun. Makes me think of when I went in December and let me son drive. Crazy! :lmao:

Oh, of course the baby won't know, but your DS will, and those big brothers don't like it when Santa isn't fair to their babies! My oldest DD was 7 when my youngest was born, and boy would she make sure no one ever left out her little sister! She was soooo protective of her (still is).
I also wish I had a laptop so I could read the DIS in bed, as weird as that sounds. :sad2: And I don't have a good reason for it either!

Oh, I know my son will be the one counting to make sure everything is even. :lmao: He's like that. It's sweet that your duaghter is protective.

I'm really looking forward to getting mine.

Hey TK.....just stopping by to wish you a Happy New Year....oh the wonderful things 2010 has in store for you!

Hope you are all doing well and taking care of yourself!

Hi TK! I followed you over from Heidi's TR and I'm really enjoying reading about your adventures. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Looking forward to more updates!

Thank you! I hope you and yours are doing well! I think 2010 is going to be a great year.

Thanks, and :welcome: Happy to have you here!

My only goal for this day on my to do list was to let my son pick the park. And we did. Suffice it to say, he's not too solid on the names of the parks at this point in the trip, but he knew he wanted to go on the pirates ride and it's a small world, and those are at the Magic Kingdom.
I hope your not mad but I chopped up your post!

This is so cute.. are these you DS favorite rides? Did he want to go on the Barnstormer or Splash?

And also, I let go a little more, spoiled a little more, but within reason.
It is always hard finding that fine line of reason. I think we tend to go over that line from time to time. When is enough enough? :rotfl:

This was one of the best days I've ever had. And all in the back of my mind, I was thinking, this is the last time. It was our only full day, just the three of us before the family got there, and I knew that when we got home from this trip, DH and I really wanted to start trying for another baby.

Just think of all the memories you will have when it is the 4 of you..... yes the 4 of you! Then you can think back to when it was 'just' the 3 of you and you might think that it was nice being just 3, but not complete.:goodvibes

And I think that enabled me to enjoy my husband and my son even more. It was really the last time in Disney that we would be three. And I was determined that we would enjoy it.
Too sweet!

How little did I know how much we would do, and that it would be the best day ever. :goodvibes

This might of (don't tell anybody) brought a teeny tiny tear to my eye. I remember all the emotion when we walked into the MK for the first time. I get to relive that feeling every time I see that castle. I realize when I see the castle where I am and that I am with the 2 people in the whole world I love the most. :goodvibes

I am very sorry about your pregnancy thread. I don't understand the CB sometimes. It's bizarre that some people logged on to comment about how they didn't want to read it. It reminds me of Katie's thread asking about if there was ANY Pepsi on/near property. People logged on to tell her to drink water instead. Like that helps. :sad2:

Anyway, I do hope you share your pregnancy stories within your TR. :thumbsup2 WE would love to hear about it!

What a lovely day at MK!!! How does one go about looking tye-dye-esque? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
