Not All Treasure Is Silver And Gold, Mate - *Update 9-17* P60

:cool1::yay:Congratulations!!! :cool1::yay:
What fabulous news!!

Take care of yourself and don't be afraid to do nothing. The whole time you're doing nothing, your body is doing SOMETHING miraculous!!!

I remember that feeling of holding my son just a little tighter and enjoying him with clearer eyes knowing that everything was about to change. Although I adore his sister (and knew I would), there was something so special about those last days when it was just the three of us. It's so awesome that you got to let go and follow him around the MK. I'm such a planner that I would have a hard time with that, but honestly, I think I need to be little more mellow and let things flow next time!

Oh, and thanks for the package. They're just perfect!

Thank you! I know you're right. Actually, an interesting tidbit in one of my pregnancy books. My body, during the first trimester, is doing more work while I'm sleeping than someone who is climbing a mountain.

How's that for hard work? :lmao:

That's exactly it! I know I will love both my children so much, but we have been just the three of us for so long, it's a big change.

And going with the flow can be a lot of fun. If you're not feeling brave, try it for half a day. You may like it. :goodvibes

Oh, and thanks for the package. They're just perfect!

PHEW!!!! I'm so glad.

Oh, your day sounds so wonderful. It's so nice to let go and just go with it at Disney World. :goodvibes

Awww what a wonderful day!!!!! I'm so glad you were able to just enjoy the moment and have the best day ever with your family!!!!

I can't wait to tell you all about, but writing the whole day is scaring me a little. :lmao:

Whew! So glad you are going to find out -- I am so not a patient person.

Your day with just the three of you sounds like it was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to read the details of it.

TK-
I'm trying to get caught up on your report and I just read your news.

Congratulations!!!!!! :jumping1:

I love your poem. ;)

A pirates life for 4.... LOL :goodvibes

Well you know I've been your biggest cheerleader for a new baby for a while now so I'm over the moon happy for you. :cheer2: I told DH the other night that you were pregnant and the first thing he said was "Was she pregnant when I met her last month?" Men. Very odd aren't they? John sends his best wishes as well.

Happy to provide you with relief on that score. :lmao:

Hopefully I'll get the energy for that chapter this weekend.

Thank you so much!

A pirates life for 4 may not rhyme, but it sounds good to me. :goodvibes

Thank you so much, hon!

And just in case John really wants to know, yes, I was. I just didn't know it yet. :goodvibes

Just fpund this and really am enjoying it. I really like how you are wrting about the feeling of the place you are at. CONGRATS on baby number 2-very exciting. We took our first trip last May and my older DD really was into it. My younger daughter who was just over 2.5 had fun but I think this trip she will also really "get it". The last part of 2 and first part of 3 have been hard for her but I am crossing my fingers that 3.5 will be more magical.

That, as of late, I've been DIS absent.

I do have a perfectly good reason, which I'd love to relate in song. ;)

ahem...

A Pirate's Life for Three, A Pirate's Life for Three...
What can be said of the beauty of a pirate's life for three...

We journey to Disney, fill up on fun
treat ourselves most heartily, yo ho

We ponder the thought of adding one
to this family of ours, yo ho

What starts as a dream
for a new little bean
becomes a reality, yo ho

And so to relate
the first trimester I face
no more drink up, me hearties yo ho

A Pirate's Life for Three, A Pirate's Life for Three
we're ready to open a new door
and now, I am happy to report...

A Pirate's Life for Four

The day after Thanksgiving, I found out we're expecting our second child. :yay:

Next Chapter

:banana::cool1::banana::cool1: Yay!!

Thank you! Isn't the difference amazing? I know people say terrible twos, but I never found that to be the case. Three was SO much harder, and it seemed four is mellower, and I'm hoping five will be even more so.

I can't wait to bring this new little one to Disney, but I have a feeling that we will hold it for a while so we can really enjoy it. :thumbsup2

The difference is remarkable. I see it everyday at school. Sometimes I think the kids are more mature than the adults :lmao:

How old was your son when you first took him to Disney?

TK, it is 12:33am, and I am sitting up, watching some TV, and catching up on my very far-behind DIS, and I get myself all caught up on your lovely report, and I am now bawling my eyes out!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW LITTLE BEAN!!!!!! I am so excited for you I can hardly stand it......I almost just woke Tom up to let him know the good news....he would have no clue what I am talking about I remind myself!

Your news is so wonderful, and I hope you are doing everything you can to take care of the two of you!! Many prayers and much hope for a safe, healthy pregnancy and delivery!

Also, your last update about your last day in the World as the Pirates three, was so sweet, so dear, and such a significant moment....the tears just flowed some more.

I gotta run---need some Kleenex!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!! Many hugs and much love!

This was one of the best days I've ever had. And all in the back of my mind, I was thinking, this is the last time. It was our only full day, just the three of us before the family got there, and I knew that when we got home from this trip, DH and I really wanted to start trying for another baby.

That's cool that you were able to be aware of "the last time" and really enjoy it. So many times I look back and realize I should have enjoyed that last time a little more.

I am so happy to have you here! 3.5 was a tough age for us, but every child is different, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :goodvibes

Actually, he was eight, almost nine months old. That's a long story about that trip. :lmao:

Thank you so much! That is too funny about you wanting to wake up your husband.

I am doing the best I can, that's for sure. And fortunately, I work with a great group of women who look out for me when I'm working, too.

Also, your last update about your last day in the World as the Pirates three, was so sweet, so dear, and such a significant moment....the tears just flowed some more.

Oh, I inspired a Kleenex run! My apologies, but I know it's a good cry.

Just liked I bawled watching White Christmas the other night.

"We'll follow the old man wherever he wants to go..." :sad1:

Congratulations! That is awesome news!!!

Thank you!

That's cool that you were able to be aware of "the last time" and really enjoy it. So many times I look back and realize I should have enjoyed that last time a little more.

The older I get, the more aware I become of times like that. It's also part of learning to live in the moment, which can be quite hard. We're always looking to the future, I find.

I'm caught up TK!!

Congrats on the 'little bean'! What a wonderful thing that is!

I love the flow of your TR this time... Its all about the love:cloud9: not the itinerary!!

It remains this way for the next day. We get a bit more scheduled, unfortunately, but once the family gets there, it's almost impossible not to be scheduled.

awww... I bawled watching Miracle on 34th Street last night.

Evan did too but we cried at different times.

He cried when Santa was in Bellevue, sitting sadly by the window. I love that he cried for Santa. I know he's not sure if he still believes but I love that he cried.

I love that movie. I am normally sentimental, and even more so now. Everything makes me cry. I think it's so sweet that he cried for Santa. :goodvibes
