...what do you get a couple thats been married 25 years? See, my parents 25th Wedding Anniversary is coming up on Oct. 9th & I havent the faintest idea what to get. Any ideas...anyone?

Have you asked your mother yet? I ask this based on my mother - my sister & I were just talking today about anniversary gifts & parties for our parents. HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY to your mom & dad!!

When my parents were married 25 years, my brother and I threw a party for them (OMG, this was ages ago...as they were married in 1962). Anyway, we got them a weekend away at the Concord Hotel. Now, my parents were both school teachers and never, ever went away anywhere, so this was perfect for them. But, you really have to know what your parents might like. If they are well-traveled then a weekend away won't be as special, I suppose. If they are like me, they might want something that reminds them of their children.

Get him a date with an Airline attendant say between the ages of 21 or 25.

At this the golden moments and after so many years of wedded bliss they need time alone to reflect on what could have been and what they missed out on, since they were raising a kid when they could have played, so you see Amber its all your fault its up to you to fix this.

For dad a Nintendo or X-Box (all hail Microsoft) with the Death of the super Ninja warrior dragon impersonator 3D oh no the Mario brothers princess is dead with goglophonic burst your eardrum sound effects, and real pain simulator feel it man game cartridge.

For mom a new set of sponges for the kitchen, but go all out get the kind that has the soft on one side, and rough on the other for that extra pan scrubbing action.

This way when she makes the anniversary dinner she'll have to clean with afterwards.

We celebrated our 26th anniversary this year in WDW. Our daughter's bought us a Mickey & Minnie polarfleece throw and had "Happy 26th Anniversary" embroidered on it.

Last year, DH & I decided we didn't want a big party for our 25th. We went to dinner and a movie. After we got home, when we went to bed, we discovered that while we were out, our daughters (age 21 & 15) had Saran Wrapped our bed!!! In between the layers of Saran Wrap were the words "Happy 25th Anniversary" written with glitter. We laughed so hard! I had to change the sheets, but it will always be a special memory!
