Nory Report III: In the Third Person! After 3 Years, the Final Update! NEW 2/6

:rotfl:

What a fun fun update! I'm so glad it turned around from hot, tired and cranky with a dry sandwich, blah fries and disengaged CM. I love your transition photo's and well, would like to live in that little blue house for a week or so. It reminds me of a flat one might rent while on vacation, living in another country.

Thanks, Cynthia! I'd like to live in that house, too. I used to think I'd choose one of the upper-story apartments on Main Street, but now I think the little blue house would be more me. We can dream, right? ;)

I'm glad you found your spark of inspiration!!! Who'd a thunk it'd be a squat two story blue house.

I swear, if I saw some of those architecture pictures somewhere other than the DIS, I'd have no idea where they were taken. What in the world have I been looking at? It's so easy to miss all those details that they put in, but I know we'd notice that something was missing if they were gone.

It really is incredible, how much detail they put into everything.

Another reason why Disneyworld is such an incredible place. I love your description of Adventureland. Spot on! And what a cool looking little building you found. I would love to have seen you walking around, recording notes on your phone. :rotfl: That was some good thinking, on your part, and I'm sure you just appeared to be on the phone. Either way, glad you found the inspiration you were looking for.

Despite only getting half of Main St. done, you sure did a fantastic job in Adventureland!! Your pictures are great, lots of details I've never noticed before!

I probably look like a bizarro theme park spy, or something! she thought as she furtively stepped off the main path and whispered into her phone.

Hehehe, I got a good chuckle out of this! I wonder if all the CMs thought you were some type of "mystery shopper" for Disney parks! :rotfl:

I don't think I've ever really taken notice that that little blue house either! SO excited that you got some inspiration!!

I hate catching up on your TR while I am at work because I can't see your wonderful pics. so I will be back later to REALLY catch up!

I have seen that little blue house. :rotfl2: Wondered what secret purpose it held too.

I love walking down the paths and just looking. Doing so much more of that now compared to the days of commando and kids.

So great that that little blue house gave you some inspiration. Sounds like you got quite a storyline. :thumbsup2

You got some lovely pictures and some views I haven't seen yet. I, for one, have never noticed the little blue house. Cool!

Sorry your meal was not the greatest and your CM was less than stellar.

So many responses I missed! I think something's up with my DIS subscribed thread emails lately...Anyway, responses first, then my news at the end!

I felt a little embarrassed about the phone note-taking, but I tried to keep it subtle! Mostly I was just happy to finally be inspired for a change.

The second half is coming the next day...which, at the rate I'm going, I'll probably get to sometime next year! :rotfl:

I'm totally in love with that blue house now...I'm ready to move in!

Now I just have to finish writing it...3/4 of the way done with my first draft!

Thanks! Usually I really like The Plaza...guess it was just an off day or something.

OK, now on to my totally non-Disney-related news. In case anyone ever wonders why I'm not around much lately (I know, I know, what's new, right?), it's because of this:

Yep, we're having a baby!

Looks like my days of solo Disney traveling are over for a while!

Oh my gosh! Congratulations!!! That's wonderful! Forgive me, I know nothing at all about babies so I have no idea of age from the US picture, but when are you due??

Congratulations!! That is so great, a new little mouseketeer!! All my best to you for a healthy pregnancy (and a short labor, ha!). :goodvibes

Congratulations!!!! How exciting. Hope you have an easy pregnancy and even easier delivery. :goodvibes

Thanks, everybody! We're due November 7.

The other good news is that I'm going back down to part time at work sometime in the next few weeks -- maybe I'll finally have more of that elusive DIS time?

ALSO, I get to go back to WDW in a few weeks, with my parents, who said they wanted to take me one more time on my own before I have my own little one to bring along (aw). My dad hasn't been in nearly 20 years!

Congratulations! :woohoo::banana::thumbsup2:cool1: That is wonderful news! Yup - your solo days are over for a while, but you will enjoy your future trips to Disney even more!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana: Sooooo, soooo exciting!!!!! And I bet you will look adorable with a little baby bump! :goodvibes

And :woohoo: for a trip in a few weeks! Love that your parents are taking you!!
