We are soooooo excited to be on this cruise! DD will be 8 and DS will be 12. We are planning to spend time at Tivoli Gardens the day before the cruise and then fly to Paris and do a combination city/Disneyland Paris trip! Cant wait!

Somehow my subscription to this thread got messed up and I wasn't getting notifications. So playing catch up now!

I'm late to the party, but I am booking this cruise today!! For myself, my husband and our 6 year old daughter (will be 6 in June 2015). I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm booking through Small World Vacations today at lunch time hopefully!!!!!!!!!! I have been looking at this cruise for a couple of months and my husband just gave the green light and said go ahead and book!
We have never been on a Disney Cruise. I have done 2 Mediterranean cruises, one through Princess and one through Norwegian, but never with my daughter.
So we are figuring everything out!!!!!!!! I haven't been able to read through all the pages of this tread yet ... but now that I am booking and I won't just be getting my hopes up for no good reason, I am ready to get OBSESSED, LOL!!!

My dd will be 6 at the beginning of July 2015!!! We'll have to get our girls together, she'd love to have a friend her age on the cruise! I'm going with her and my mother-in-law (who is a bit iffy pending her hip replacement surgery), so my daughter won't have her brothers along (they'll be in Brussels and Paris with my husband and father-in-law) so the kids clubs without her brothers will be a new thing for my dd.

My daughter will be nearly 8 on the cruise; I think we will be solo and are unfortunately only doing this one (although will be spending a few days in Copenhagen at least). So excited!

I'm sailing without my dh on this cruise. My MIL plans to come along, but it's a bit iffy. I'm glad I'm not the only one taking a child potentially solo!

Is anyone doing the Adventures by Disney before the cruise? I looked at it and it doesn't say they are sold out - to contact a travel agent..

IF anyone has done ABD or knows about it, I'd love some advice!!

We definitely want to do it if it is available, I'm not thrilled with our TA right now... Maybe I can find out about it on our trip to Disney World & Halloween Cruise next week??

Hi everyone

We booked this cruise a couple weeks ago when DH and I were aboard the Fantasy. I haven't had a chance to read the entire thread yet but wanted to go ahead and jump in on the conversation . It'll be me, DH, DD16 and DS9. First time to Norway and Denmark (and hopefully Sweden too!) We plan to have at least 3 full days before/after to explore a bit of Copenhagen.

We have wanted to go to Norway for years because DH's grandparents were Norwegian and we figured cruising is the best way to go! And of course DCL is the best way to cruise (we confirmed that on our NCL to Alaska this summer )

I'm kinda bummed because we did downgrade our veranda to an inside today but airfare has me nervous. So far $1500/person so the savings on downgrading will cover 2 of those! Plus, it'll force us out of the cabin and we'll see more of the 360 view!

Kinda on the fence about the FE. I want to but I know it could really add to the luggage. It was just DH and I on the last cruise and we still had a suitcase full for the trip home

Now to go catch up on the thread! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

My friend Linda (seaulater) and I are doing the Copenhagen pre-cruise ABD. I am very excited about the ABD. I took my first ABD in June. It was the Backstage Magic in California and I loved every minute of it...I was pleased to see a Copenhagen pre-cruise Adventure. We are also doing the Baltic ABD add on on our June 13 cruise. You can find out the itineray for the pre-cruise Adventure on the ABD site. Also, based on my BSM ABD, the itinerary only gives the basics...we had lots of surprises on my BSM ABD.

We are doing pre cruise ABD in copenhagen also and very excited! We did pre cruise ABD in Barcelona in 2013 and it was amazing. We have our flights all arranged. I am awaiting port excursions to be posted by DCL. I am planning to book excursions in Stavanger and Gerainger. We will do our own touring in Alesund and Bergen.

YIKES! On the airfare. Have you checked skyscanner.com ? They are one of the better airfare scounts out there? Where are you flying from?

THANKS!!! I haven't heard of skyscanner. Will have to check them out! We are most likely flying out of Jackson, MS. Flights are so high here because we have so few of them. But the upside of the that... usually walk through security. Once though we had to wait 15 minutes, lol We are willing to fly out of Memphis or New Orleans if the savings is substantial but we have yet to find anything worth it.

Hello all,
I just got off Quantum of the Seas last week for a 2 night cruise, and decided to cancel our Baltic sailing on the Magic after this cruise, and instead book the June 13th Anthem of the Seas from London. Especially since we've already done the Baltic ports.

I've been doing some research today on post-cruise airport transfers, and discovered that we'll be docking at the Oceankaj quay in Copenhagen. And that the fastest way to get to the airport is to grab a taxi out front. Travel time is 30-45 minutes. From my research, it looks like the cost will be around $80 US. Just wanted to share, in case anyone else is flying out that day.

I haven't had a lot of time for working on this trip lately, but I'm sure that will change soon!
