Northwest Airlines

We are scheduled to leave March 11th flying Northwest Airlines. They are in bankruptcy and there is a possible strike starting March 1st. Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? What would you do? I checked out other airlines and were talking $1700 for the four of us. I would love any and all suggestions! Thanks!
