I think that's a common trait. They think they are the size of bulldogs, not full size boxers and that they can just sit on top of us.:lmao: Ozzy gets up on the couch every once in awhile, but not that often and when we get a new couch, definately not happening.:lmao:

I think they are all the same - full of personality. We stopped our getting on the sofa after the little one started to think she owned it, now we spend most of the time sat on the floor with them. :rotfl2:

The pups are all cute! Boxers are beautiful dogs! I love the little maltese... Reminds me of my budde when he was a pup!

Wow ... I'm surprised to see all that snow in England! We actually got a break this weekend. I would try to post a picture of our snow and the t-shirts, however, my camera is broken... Time to get a new one! Hoping to get another Sony, as I presently have two batteries and 3 memory cards for Sony. Hate to see them go to waste!

Hope all are well and healthy. My cold seems to have left my head and entered the chest. I can't handle all this coughing. My stomach is hurting so much. Too bad it is not from exercising :)

Take care all!

6 more weeks of winter here according to Wiarton Willie ... (Groundhog Day here)

It snowed pretty much all day yesterday, we've had about 6 inches here in total but others have had a lot more & some have not had any. Most of the schools are closed for the second day & a lot of disruption at all airports & public transport....this country just can't handle the snow as we rarely get any, this is the most we have had in the past 18 years.

I hope you are feeling better again soon.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day. I just tried to get an Illuminations Cruise for May 4th and was out of luck. I really thought I had a chance. I hit the que right at 6:59 am EST and went directly to a CM. But when she looked, both cruises were already taken. I'll try again tomorrow for May 5th. But that is the last day of our trip that the cruise will fit in our plans. Hope I have better luck tomorrow.

I had surgery on January 22 and am still home recuperating. They are saying that I won't be back to work until the end of February or first part of March. I am already going stir crazy. I can't imagine what I will be like by the end of the month. I do like to read. But I'm not sure that will keep me occupied enough for the next month. I think that I need to find a hobby.

Sorry to hear about your surgery. Hope it was nothing serious and that you feel better soon.
We did an Illuminations cruise a few years ago and loved it. Good luck tomorrow! If not then check on the main boards and see if someone has room on their boat for you. That's what we did and had a wonderful time.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Pictures from UK are really great, and all the dogs are adorable. I thinks pictures of my malamutes have already been posted.

It is getting warmer here, high today of 50 degrees, then 60 for next 2 days until it gets cool again.

Peter - hope you get some plowing jobs with your snowstorm!

Have a great day everyone!

Sorry about the Illumination cruise - fingers crossed for tomorrow... :thumbsup2

I really feel for you going stir crazy, Eva! It's so tough trying to recuperate when you're used to being up and about! As far as hobbies go, my advice would be to try and stick with reading/Sudoku/internet browsing/knitting/any existing pastime if at all possible. But most of all, please try and take it easy, it's not too long and you need to rest... xxx

Meanwhile here's a little story about me and hobbies... A few years ago, I had to be off my feet for around 6 months - shoulda been 8 weeks but I didn't do as I was told... . Not only did I put on over 28lbs but, in the pursuit of a passive hobby, I got totally sucked into craft and bought more card-making kits than I care to discuss! Suffice to say, I ended up spending more per card than a really pretty shop-bought one would ever cost... And I'm not at all creatively gifted - all in all, it was a glitter and glue nightmare!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: So after I returned to full fitness, I ended up donating many £££ worth of craft supplies/equipment to charity - lesson well and truly learned!!! ;)

The Early Show just did a segment on the snow and ice in UK! Take care, sounds like more ice is coming!

Isn't it bad when you have to give up your furniture just so they don't take it over?:lmao:

Hope you feel better soon and don't go too crazy. I'm sure you'll find something to take you're mind off the time.

Good luck getting that Illuminations cruise. We've never done one, but I'd like to do one at some point.

Good luck - I hope you get the Illuminations cruise. pixiedust: Take care and rest up, I hope you don't get too bored.

Hmmm...that sounds familiar. :rolleyes1

I think QVC has had quite enough money from both of us over the past few years Karen. ;)

The Early Show just did a segment on the snow and ice in UK! Take care, sounds like more ice is coming!

I really hope not...they keep threatening it on the local news though. :guilty: None so far today, the sun has been out and its starting to melt very slowly. I think it is moving up North more now.

Isn't it bad when you have to give up your furniture just so they don't take it over?:lmao:

I know it's crazy but the big eyes & talking make me give in everytime!

There's so much personality behind those big eyes isn't there?

Eva - if you get too bored then watch the dvd on our ports and let me know what I need to see! :lmao:

Thanks for the encouragement! I have to laugh about your craft story. My story would end the same way if I tried something like that. I am not very crafty and really have no desire to be. I do sometimes look longingly at some beautiful scrapbooks. But I really do not have the talent or patience for that. I’m lucky to get my pictures printed. So far I have been surfing the net and reading books. I will try my best to do what the doctor says. But it is tough! I’ve been good with the weight so far. I’ve been losing so far. I’ve been watching that “You Are What You Eat” on the BBC. That’s enough to keep me under control!

Sorry to hear about your surgery. Hope it was nothing serious and that you feel better soon.

We may give up on the cruise. I really needed it for the 4th. Moving it to the 5th will cause me to have to redo a number of our ADR’s. I will see if someone is willing to share. But since we have 7 people, it may be tough to find someone. Thanks for the support!

That's a great idea! I may have to do that very thing this afternoon. Thanks again for sending it to me! :flower3:

GM

Presently 42 going up to 51 here in Central Florida.. should be in the high 29 tonight..

Happy Birthday and Anniversary to all who are celebrating

:grouphug: pixiedust: to everyone who is going to need it today

Have a great Wednesday

Yippee! I just got an Illuminations Cruise for May 5th! It did mean changing around a couple ADR's. I was ready to just give up, but Steve encouraged me to try again today. I'm glad he did! :thumbsup2

Now I have to figure out how to reduce the noise level for our DGD-3. She hates loud noises, but loves to watch fireworks from a distance. Will regular ear plugs work for her?

Good Morning Cruisers!

Eva - congrats on getting the Illuminations Cruise!

Liz - looks like another day when it will be warmer in Wyoming than in Florida:confused3 . Our high today is supposed to be 60 degrees! The best part of the forecast is the calm wind!

Have a great day everyone!

Great news on the cruise!!!! I'd try the earplugs with her, that should help.

Haven't been around much recently as busy with work etc, but just wanted to say we are off to WDW tomorrow :)

Claire ;)
