Working our way home today, will be a log travel day.

Have a great one, Kids

Scott and Lynn - hope you got home ok.

I've been researching tour companies and prices for St Petersburg. Being that we don't arive until 11:30 it cuts 3 hours out of the day. Anastasia has given me a schedule for a good price(I think) if anyone would like a copy. My second choice would be DenRus. I found Red October not to be as friendly and I haven't checked Alla yet. If anyone else knows of another company then please let me know.

Good Morning Cruisers!

We are safely home, the dogs have been picked up from the kennel and are romping in the back yard! The birds are back at the bird feeder now that it is full again!

Yesterday was a long day, one bag did not make it in on our flight, but was on the next flight - so we waited at the Denver airport for an extra 2 1/2 hours for our bag - it was the one with all the souveniers from the races, we did not want to lose that! Delta did buy us dinner - not a fancy dinner, but dinner none the less. We got home at 11pm, went straight to bed, as on the time zone we had been in, it was 1am!

I skipped a bunch of pages here, but it sounds like several had to back out, sorry to hear that.

Almost the whole time we were in WDW, it was only about 2 degrees warmer there than it was here in Cheyenne! Our sweatshirts got a good workout!

Have a great day!

Hello Gydell

I have been researching too last week and I didn't realised that Russia is very expensive (beat Paris and Tokyo!!)...

I don't know whether to have private car or doing the dlc excursions.

I wait to hear from DLC excursions...

Also I looked another cruise excursions and realised that it will be expensive too...

Maybe I will hear from you as I hope you feedback me about your trip...

From my little bit of research and watching Samantha Brown it looks like most of these ports are expensive. Even though they'll cost more I imagine for the most part we'll just stick with DCL for excursions.

Gydell - I'm looking at Alla for my shore ex in May - I've been "talking" w/ Katya who seems very nice. Who is Anastasia with? (not sure if that's a company or a person w/ a company)

Glad you guys are home safe - kudos to you both w/ your races :thumbsup2

I told you guys I'd keep you informed w/ the info/plans I'm doing....

I confirmed 2 nights at the Maison Dieu http://www.maisondieu.com/ for the nights of the 26th & 27th of April (ship sails the 28th).

I have maps of most cities that I can scan and post (or email) if wanted - a friend took a Baltic cruise on Holland America a few years ago and she's lent me her stuff :goodvibes

Anastasia is a company. http://www.anastasiaworld.com/enghtml/shore_2day.html

Cruise critic gives them great reviews. If you want I can send you a schedule that they worked out for us since we are just there for a day and a half.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Thanks for the welcome back! We did have a great time at WDW!

Looks like a great day here in Cheyenne - if you don't mind a little wind:rotfl2: Sunny, high of 63, wind at 20-30mph!

Have a great day everyone!

Giving us a little *bump* as we're on page 2...

Hope everyone's keeping well???:grouphug:

Happy Thursday, fellow cruisers... :wave2:

Grey, drizzly day here in London. After 3 full-on days at Uni, I'm relaxing with a coffee before getting stuck into my huge list of household chores! :laundy:

Don't tend to get too stressed about this kind of thing BUT just reviewing finances - this cruise is now costing us £2168 more than when we booked... :crazy2: Thank goodness we can drive/walk/hitch a ride to Dover... ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: Oh and we've 505 days in which to save our pennies...

Have a great day...

I have been thinking about it myself the last few days but had not worked it out as I knew it would depress me!! I hope the exchange rate starts climbing or we will definately be cancelling!!!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Not much activity here! It took me forever to catch up after our vacation!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Don't cancel, Claire! We have loads of time before making a decision like that!!! Plus I'm sure the rate will recover somewhat - we booked at $1.75/£ and IMO something like $1.6 would be realistic so there's gotta be hope... We're just factoring into the overall cost how much we would spend on flights if the Magic was sailing out of Port Canaveral and that makes it feel more reasonable...

TBH there's no way my DH will ever cancel this trip - he's looking forward to it way too much - bless him... :goodvibes  ::yes::
