What's Radko?

It's a type of ornament. It's made by Christopher Radko. He sold part of his line a few years ago and now Target and Kmart carry some of them. He kept the more expensive ones and they can be found in some Christmas shops. Disney usually has him do one for them. The line he kept ranges from $45 - $100+ an ornament. That's why I have to get them at 90% off!

I feel bad not joining in on the Christmas tree fun. But, we are not putting up a tree this year since we will be gone until Jan. 6. I love all the trees though.

I feel so sorry for you - Hawaii or tree. I'd take Hawaii!
Kidding aside, I hope that you and the kids get through the holidays with as much joy as possible. I know that I would not be able to stay home either. Hope your trip is wonderful!

Gydell we have a few Radko - including the DCL one - but we have to keep them up high due to the cats. We'll have 2 trees - a real Blue Spruce and then an artificial one that has flouroscent ornaments that we light with black light (it's a family thing - an uncle found them in NY in the 40s-50s...)

Wow! Everyone's trees are wonderful! I will have to see about getting a picture of mine posted. But it sure isn't has spectacular has the ones previously posted.

The flouroscent tree sounds great! I would love to see a pix, it might be my next tree. You are lucky to have such old ornaments. Mine started about 8 years ago when Bob started inviting me to the showroom. That's a place everyone should see at least once.

Good Morning Cruisers!

We got another dusting of snow last night, most of it blew to Nebraska! It is cold and windy this morning, but should at least be sunny later, so I will put off my walk until this afternoon.

Nice trees everyone! I was telling Scott last night that we could use another tree, as I am having alot of trouble finding space for all our ornaments - we have 3 trees now, a small one in the bedroom that has all of our "travel" ornaments, a new one in the living room that I wanted to keep to the "outside/wildlife" theme of the living room with the ornaments, and I have put our regular tree in the newly finished entertainment room in the basement. That is the tree with all the Disney ornaments and everything else we have collected for almost 30 years! We do not have room for another tree! So, I guess I just need to cram all the ornaments on the tree in the basement!

We have the Cinderella Castle one he did for the 50th anniversary celebration. It's a beautiful ornament.

I'd love to see a pic of that flouroscent tree. We have an older aluminium Christmas tree complete with the rotating light.

I feel the same way Lynn. We're starting to run out of room for all the ornaments we have. From Disney alone this year I brought home at least half a dozen new ornaments. I think next year I may add one smaller tree in the living/dining room.

Rain, rain and more rain here! We need it, that's for sure, but it doesn't help with the new puppy. I have a couple of ladies coming over today to see my house. I have warned them it's not as decorated as usual.
I'm watching Samantha in London now. She's staying in a place that doesn't have real good reviews on Tripadvisor.

I bet he's a cutie though. At least they turned him in instead of just leaving him on the streets like some do. People think puppies are so cute, but don't realize how much time and responsibility they are.

BTW, for those in our group who are on Facebook, I uploaded some pics from our WDW trip today.

Also I forgot, last Friday we got a present from the Dream Squad!!!! We walked into One Man's Dream in Hollywood Studios to pass the time before we could use our Toy Story Mania Fastpasses and the Dream Squad was there and we got Dream Fastpasses!!!! So we got another Fastpass for Toy Story.
