We had a great time. I'd download my pics and upload a few, but stupid Delta lost our only bag and one of my parents bags and mine has my camera USB cable in it. Out of three bags we got 1!!!! We should have them back later today though.

They always seem to lose one of ours. You'll have it back sometime, maybe.

We on the top of a small mountain(nothing like Scott & Lynn) so it's steep but manageable.


That's been all the talk last week. The majority of Auburn fans are livid!

I still can't believe I missed that. I was watching ESPN off and on during the week. I was able to catch that Charlie Weis was staying at Notre Dame, but I missed that Tuberville got fired, go figure.

M, when this happened to us, We had them delivered to our home, on them!!!

Delta's bringing them out to our house later today. If they had come in by a certain time last night they would have brought them last night.

It was just plain chaos in ATL last night. They were loading two planes leaving at the same time at the same gate. That's just asking for problems.

Just wanted to post a quick hello! Lovely lights and trees everyone! Well have to post ours soon, but it is boring. Only one string of lights, but it is all the snow that makes it look lovely!

Two more days till we are off! Hope to run into some of you at Mousefest! Take care all!

PS ... I have been blessed and have never lost any luggage (had a suitcase broken once though). I tend to only do direct flights though.

We finally finished our outside lights this past weekend. Our tree is pretty small this year because all the kiddies are gone, but I will take some photos tonight.

Shoes99: yesterday I did a half-marathon to benefit the Victory Junction Camp in Randleman, NC. It was founded by the Petty family in memory of their son/grandson Adam who was killed several years ago (on the track, I think) Richard was there signing autographs and Kyle and Patty personally highfived everyone as they crossed the finish line. My camera batteries went dead so I don't have any photos from this year, but I will post one from last year when I post the Christmas ones. They are an amazing family!

Jeanne, You Go Girl!!!! KEWL!!! I used to see Richard Petty every now and then when we lived in Jackson, as he had a place near by in the Alpine, WY area.

Scott/Lynn: if you ever want to run a race in NC, that's the one to do. It's a small event (about 500 for the half; even less for the 5-miler) that is well supported with lots of volunteers, and all the money goes to a good cause. The goody bags are full of NASCAR stuff and the Pettys make themselves completely accessible to the fans. The race ends at the actual camp which is like a NASCAR themed mini-WDW for special needs kids. It is an awesome place and a very nice event. I am not a NASCAR fan, but have a tremendous respect for the Petty family after doing this race 2 years in a row.

Gydell, I love your Radko tree. We have some Radko's too. We have a Radko tree topper, but our tree is too tall to put it on the tree. We also have Olde World Christmas/Inge-Glas Ornaments too. Jason and his mom used to work in a Christmas shop so we have lots of Christmas stuff.

Put the topper on a candle stick. I have 4 of the toppers. I know Bob who is Christopher's assistant, so when they have stuff to get rid of he calls me. I have cookie jars, garland, and lots and lots of ornaments. Bob sells the stuff for about 90% off.

I only put 11 up this year. There's 3 left but I didn't feel like putting them up but you're welcome to come do it for me!
