Hi -- We're booked on a Cat 5, 7520 -- my name is Dale (32), and I'll be sailing with my partner (Jeff). We were on the first Med cruise in 2007 -- looking forward to all these ports! I've never been to any of these countries on the itinerary.

Nathan has only worn a tux once, that I know of, and that was for the formal meal the night before his Police Passing Out Parade! Then we rented it locally.

Claire ;)

Welcome!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes This is going to be an awesome cruise and it's great to have you with us... :dance3:

Great idea... I'm totally going to lead Richard down the tux route! He will be bringing a suit anyway as he intends to go to work on the morning we disembark - don't ask...

I'm also rather excited at the prospect of myself in an array of frocks!!!princess:

Is he mad working the day we return

Claire ;)

We lived in Alpharetta for 20 years and moved 4 years ago to Canton. Have you cruised before?

Oh my!
What a long time but nice to meet you. We have cruised 3 times throughout the years. When we heard about the Baltic it was a no brainer! :cool1: Obviously, you have cruised before by the looks of it. ;)

:welcome: all the new members of the thread to the madhouse

It's just what he does - he hates wasting holiday days. He works in Canary Wharf so a quick drive up the M2/A2 and he'll be there... TBH he always goes to work on the morning we return from MCO so this should be a breeze... :thumbsup2

Okay, I have been tortured long enough. It has been killing me that I am not booked on this cruise. I just sent an email to my TA to move me from the christmas 2010 to this cruise. Once I have a room, I will post all my pertinent info.

WELCOME!

I have to make up for missing on a formal night this coming year. We are only taking a 4-day cruise and there is no actual formal night. But they do have a semi-formal night and I will make sure that we do Palo on a different night. So we will get at least two nights where Steve will wear a suit and I will wear a cocktail dress. I hear that the Wonder is really casual. But I feel that you can never really be overdressed.

I am really considering ordering a tux for Steve. Then he will only need to bring one suit. He can wear each two times and be set for the cruise. That will cover 2 formal nights, 1 semi-formal night, and at least one night at Palo.

Question: Will we still only get one dinner reservation at Palo on this cruise? I wondered if on the longer ones they allowed a couple of nights. Any Med or PC cruise experiences out there?

Only one, plus 1 brunch and 1 high tea. I believe suite people have been known to have more though.

I think Nathan would look so good in a tux.:)

I've only worn one once as well - on a cruise we did when I was 18. I've still got it but I've got two hopes of getting into it now, and one of those is Bob. :lmao:

We'll have to get together sometime before the cruise!

Well done! Who can resist the lure of the first Baltic cruise...??? :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh and for any football (soccer) fans out there listen to this -

Disney has perhaps the most unusual sports bars at sea, tucked inside a false funnel aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. On Deck 11, the ESPN Skybox seats about 70 people and is modeled on a similar attraction at Disney's Boardwalk Resort in Orlando. Programming is extensive, and includes a potpourri of telecasts from ESPN's domestic and international operations. As many as four events can be shown at a time!.

Just right for the group stages :)
