Has anyone without a gyt gotten an upgrade yet?

I read this on the trip report from the EB Group.

I called yesterday to see about SPB excursion. They finally lessened that 2 hour window between excursions. We are doing the Hermitage and get back at 5:15. They wouldn't allow me to book the 7 pm canal cruise. But now they did. I certainly don't want to have big blocks of time having to sit on the Magic while in SPB. Still looking into a private tour for day 2.

I asked her to confirm the nights (nothing new):

Formal night is 2nd evening
Themed evening is Villains; 9th evening.
11th night is semi-casual.

They still haven't settled on how we were are getting back to London after the cruise. She said it could be in vans. I think they should ship over the DCL buses!

Can you book the second cruise on-line or you have to callin.

This is an excursion that embarks from the ship to visit Walt Disney World. It's a little known fact that Walt Disney himself is cyrogenically frozen under The Pirates of the Caribbean Ride. Each participant will receive a commemorative frozen popsicle in the shape of Walt Disney as a souvenir of their trip. Participants get to sign a "Welcome Back!" card when they resurrect him.

Congrats on the room. Isn't it nice to have a place to call "home" on the Magic. Wish it was my permanent one!

this is great! I was on the phone yesterday with DVC and asked if they knew when DCL would be sending out the packets, he said about 3 weeks so you got yours early. Sue

When I got home last night I had a notice from Fed Ex. I'll have to wait until I get home, but I figured it was the Cruise Docs. Funny how us International passengers get our docs from Orlando before the Americans.

I'm starting to develop our plans for port days. Anyone have an idea how to visit Schwerin Castle from Warnemunde? I found one recommended tour guide with trips there, but he was booked on that day.

Or let me know if you think a visit there isn't worth the trip. I know nothing about it except the photos look pretty cool. We don't want to make the trip to Berlin, and I'm not terribly excited about what I see in Rostock.

Hey all! They've added some more excursions, so if you were considering something that was already booked up, take a look. The kids will be excited to go and see Santa's Summerhouse in Finland now! Yipppeeee!!!

Cruise docs arrived today. Since my luggage tags says the cat 11 cabin I booked, does that mean a possible upgrade is out of the question???

When I had a gty cabin on the WB Repo, we used to laugh and say we were sleeping in the Lifeboats. Well, since it is Friday, and I have no room assignment, I am assuming that I won't have one until at least Monday.

Just got home a couple of hours ago! Sure wish I was still there!!! DH had to go to the dr. with chest pains this week and has all kinds of test scheduled for next week. The dr. thinks it's just stress but wants to be sure. I wish June 5th would hurry up.....

You can be upgraded up until the day you check in at the port.
