This weekend was spent packing for our quick trip to Disneyland for the 1/2 marathon race. I will just be a spectator this time, but Scott will be running! (Does anyone need a 1/2 marathon bib?)

Not cruise related but wanted to vent to fellow disney fanatics about our trip to Disneyland Paris next week.

We phoned to ask a few questions about details with the trip got some really disappointing replies. This is a really big trip for us (well they always are aren't they anniversary, little boys first visit etc. The person on the phone was useless but did give us an email address to contact. A very un appologetic reply came back answering some of our questions including .... the hotel pool would be closed (not publicised or mentioned when we booked) and the fantasyland breakfast (when Disney hotel guests enter the park early for breakfast to get a head start) has just been cancelled. Well we only booked a few weeks ago and they couldn't mention these things?!

Obviously not gonna be the end of our vacation fun but I am more than a bit cross/ tearful about this. They shouldn't mess with a pregnant lady but I don't know what to do about it!

Sorry that this is upsetting you. Remember to worry about the things you can control and don't let this ruin the time you spend with your family on vacation. I've never been to DLP - but definitely understand how an unhelpful CM can really upset you. Have you called back and asked for a supervisor or someone else?

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful time in spite of the challanges!

We've got a busy holiday weekend coming up. My b-day is tomorrow, the big quarter century mark!!!! Nah, the thought of being 25 really isn't bothering me that badly. We've got the nice long holiday weekend. We've got the start of Alabama football season. And it's our last weekend until our cruise. Definitely lots going on.

You're right, I just can't pull for Bama! Honestly I will be surprised to win any. But can hope for one win. Even the sports people have picked us to lose. Have to get ready.....go pick out an outfit to start the funeral procession. At least there's tailgating!
