Over the past several weeks/months folks have been backing out of the cruise I know I did not catch them all.

It will be interesting to see how many more drop out, and how many come in at the last minute - especially if Disney comes up with some deals to fill the ship.

Rainy and cool here - supposed to be the same all weekend!

Well our weather did not change, foggy, cold, rain and wind.... did a 10K on the Tread Mill, I can not make the race we planned to attend tomorrow due to work. So I did the virtual today.

Our Barn needs some cleaning out, all the const debris etc form the basement project. 30X60 so lots to clean.

Hope all are having a great weekend. Time to make Breakfast burritos...

Glad your still going! I figure we will see lots of people dropping and adding between now and next June. What hotels are you trying to book? Some of us altready have have our ressies.

I tried the three that were recommended by disney as the ones they will have the 'DCL express' running from.....and was basically 'blown off' by the staff as being way to early to book...

Admittedly I have not tried for a couple of months, but we will be booking our air next month....and would like to start finalizing some of the many details

I think that the Park Plaza is the only one that is taking ressies. You have to BUG them OFTEN and then they will give you a ressie. Just e-mail them and wait a day and e-mail them again and so forth. Most hotels will book a year in advance minus a day or two so it's not that long to wait if you want another hotel.

I just wanted to say hi. We made reservations that day they opened and are waiting like everyone else. Will be traveling with my daughter Sarah who is now 13 (listed as 14, her age when we travel).

We are DVC and traveled on the Mediterranean cruise in 2007 as well as a Magic eastern carib crusise last spring. Med was great, spring cruise not so great (15 foot swells one night ) but we're excited about going to the northern cities.

More later - back to the basketball game.

Raining again all day, went shopping for kayaks! Never did get the barn cleaned out, guess that will have to wait for next weekend!

I sent an email to a B&B in Dover but I haven't got an answer back. They said on their website that they don't take ressies more than 360 days out, but I thought they would at least answer an email.

Rain - sun - rain - sun....story of the last couple of days here. Not hot enough for the pool so we went to the Imax to see Night at the Museum. Cute, but Angels and Demons was much better.

Has anyone ever prepaid their hotel room? I noticed that Marriott and a few others are offering cheaper rates if you prepay but no refund. Since I already have a ressie I am thinking of waiting closer to the date and changing to a prepaid ressie.

I pretty much always do exactly that. If its something I am booking a long way ahead of time I will keep it on a flexible rate that allows me to cancel in case I need to change my plans. Then nearer the date I switch to a cheap, non refundable rate. I've only done this with big hotel chains but it seems to work ok.
