I totally agree. Gydell looks amazing!!! Great Job. You are inspiring me! (Now where did I put those doughnuts...Oops...)
Thanks! :rotfl2:

Well gang I'm back in the states and back at work. I'm a little exhausted after 20 something hours of travel yesterday and nothing went smoothly. Got to JFK early, but our gate wasn't ready so we sat on the runway until it was. Had to get through customs, get our bags and recheck them, go through security again. By the time we did all of this we got to the gate just as they were boarding for Cincinatti. Got on the plane and had to wait for late baggage (probably ours, lol), that put us 40 min. late leaving JFK for Cincinatti, luckily they actually got us there on time and we managed to get dinner before flying home to Huntsville.

Then we get home and our boxer gives us a welcome home heart attack. He was so excited to see us that he had a seizure. Luckily our vet lives next door to us and came over and checked on him. Apparently boxers are prone to a particular type of seizure and they can be triggered by over excitement. He's fine, but definitely not the shock you need when you first get home.

Scott, just so you know the majority (about 95% of the time) it was not overly Disney, but there were a couple of occasions where it did get a little too Disney even for me. I don't know what it will be like in Peru though, but they had some characters (not Disney) but Italian characters along the way toward the end.

Glad you had a good trip and glad your dog is ok!

Emily--I am glad you made it home safe and your dog is okay.

You can officially put my daughter on the list of one the most spoiled children in america. I booked one of those three night Disney Channel Stars cruises today. She LOVES the disney channel, and I only had time for a three night, so we are all booked. She never asked to go really because of the cost, but I knew she really wanted to.

Thought I would buck the trend of people bailing out of the cruise.

Wow, there sure seems to be a lot......and it's still over a year till we go....

Still trying to plan our post cruise activities in the jolly old UK....I figure we have another couple of months until we can book our air....

I've tried to book our room for the pre-cruise day or two.....but it seems that no-one is willing/able to do it this far in advance....

Liam is already planning his comedy routine for the kids talent show again...:rotfl:

Glad your still going! I figure we will see lots of people dropping and adding between now and next June. What hotels are you trying to book? Some of us altready have have our ressies.

Emily, Glad your trip was good and I really appreciate your comments. Thanks much.

Glad to hear others are planing being on board, I don't want to be the only folks going. Then again a private cruise would be nice. LOL

Hey! Thanks to you, I have my ressie at the Park Plaza!! It took a solid month of gentle persistence, but they finally relented. LOL. I think the kitchenette and the location make this a perfect hotel.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Emily - glad you had a good trip. My cousin that I was staying with on my trip to CA has 3 boxers, as I was sleeping in the living room on the sofa, I got to know them really well:lmao: Actually, they were all very nice dogs, and I walked them every morning (one at a time) to get my exercise in.

Gray, cool day here today - high supposed to be 55 degrees and it is breezy. It might be nice after the 80-90 degree temps we have been having.

We got sunflower seeds planted yesterday along the back fence - if they grow, you will be able to see them as you drive by on Hwy 30. Now I just need to get some soaker hose to keep them watered, as I do not have a hose long enough to reach around to the back of the fence.

Have a great day everyone!

We had a really good time. The guides are excellent and I can't think of one bad thing on this trip.

And don't worry Scott you won't be alone on this cruise, we're in 100%.

Lynn, we definitely had a good time. Jason & I already want to go back to Rome at some point we loved it so much.

Our boxer Ozzy is definitely a sweetie, he's just a little hyper at times. That was very evident Tuesday night. I never dreamed he could get himself so worked up that he would have a seizure.

Hey! I'll send some of our rain out to you! We were in such a drought all winter long.....worried about brush fires and the lakes and ponds were drying up.....even had to hand water our new plants a couple times.....

WELLL! now were are in a monsoon! The rainy season normally starts on June 1...it came early and with a vengeance!

Daytona has had over a foot of rain....some schools closed in Volusia county because of flooding. They are telling people in Dayona Beach area not to wash clothes or flush toilets ( you know if it's yellow, let it mellow)

We have had at least 7 inches of rain here.

We needed some, but this is just too much at once!

OK I better beat Debbie to it:

Yes I saw the Movie Trailer fro Pixar "Up" and the GPS bit about always knowing where you are, LOL

We are still in... Cant let you all go with out us...

Peter :woohoo:

Good Morning Cruisers!

It is good to see so many of you are not thinking about backing out! Faith - we are on the B2B also - that thread has been lost someplace here!

I have been seeing the pictures of FL - hope that all of you from there are not getting flooded out!

Foggy and cool here this morning, again, high supposed to be only 60 degrees, and we are supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon. Another day that I can put off dog walk until after breakfast.

We got a soaker hose set up to water the sunflowers yesterday - doesn't look they will need any extra water for a few days!

Have a great day everyone!
