What the heck are you watching! Can’t think of anything I watched recently that is remotely like that!

Well there are a few but one that I'm watching ATM is the Americans on Disney Plus. Amazing show btw...

I also loved it in reruns I believe. I have season 1 on my library saved list for some time to check out. I loved the show except for the odd (in my opinion) in some ways final season. Northern Exposure reruns are now on Amazon Prime? When did this happen? Northern Exposure was one of my parents favorite sitcoms and they adored every episode. Is Northern Exposure free on Amazon Prime or do you have to pay to watch it on Prime?

DW and I were rewatching My Big Fat Greek Wedding the other day and John Corbett reminded us of how much we loved Northern Exposure (until Rob Morrow left). It hasn't been on streaming or DVD forever because they couldn't clear the music rights. We'll watch it regardless, but for those who are watching, have they taken out the original music and added generic music?

i'm guessing they have the original music b/c the dvds i bought off amazon few years ago do as well. the show that had a HECK of a time with music rights was wkrp in cincinatti but the original music is also on the dvds i have.

I will add that it's clean, not like tv shows now where suddenly you would be excuse to be thinking that you are watching a porn for no specific storyline reasons...

hmm..I guess there is no overt sex but the two old guys and Shelly do give me the creeps. It's not funny and I am really disliking Maurice..

I'm really enjoying watching it. Shows (and movies) being "dated" I truly love. Getting to glimpse an earlier time is wonderful. Love TV shows from the '50's and '60's because they are "dated".

Guess I am glad some things have changed..Maurice gives me intense dislike

It was quietly released at the beginning of 2024. It's free to Amazon Prime members.
