Good Morning!

I am new to all of this. My mom will be working this cruise for DVC and asked me to join her at the last minute. You guys have all been planning for so long. I feel like I am playing catch-up! I stumbled on this board after googling to start my obsessive planning.

Anyway, I will be traveling with mom and enjoying some solo time away from dh and the kiddos. I am so excited! Alaska has always been my DREAM vacation.

I don't have my room number yet as it takes a while to get all that with a cast booking I guess.

Thank you all soooo much for all of the information. I still feel completely overwhelmed at this point. Any additional tips I should know would be appreciated.

GETTING YOUR LANYARDS AND NAME BADGES
If your name is on this list (except for those on the "not confirmed" list), I have a name badge and lanyard for you. Please make an effort to pick them up.

Name badges and lanyards will be available at the following locations:

In Los Angeles:
At the terminal - I will get there fairly early - you will have to play "Where's Ken" to find me. It probably won't be to difficult - just ask the people with the special lanyards and name badges.

(I've asked Bob of BobandLee to post a picture of Shari and I to help you in your quest to find me)

On Deck 10 - Starboard side (that's the right side of the ship) - overlooking the Goofy pool from 2:30 to 3:30pm - if it's raining, I will move to the Promenade Lounge.

If we can't connect in these places, you will have to call me in room 6584 and make arrangements for pickup.

I will be giving out two sets of lanyards and name badges in Los Angeles for those doing the B2B!

In Vancouver:
Because I'm on the Repo, I cannot guarantee that I will be in the terminal at Vancouver. Therefore, I will be in the Promenade Lounge from 2:30 to 3:30.

If we can't connect at that time, you will have to call me in room 6584 and make arrangements for pickup.

I can't wait to see everyone onboard either!!!!

Jamie just got her assignment posted last night on the "hub". She knows that she has been assigned entertainment at Magic Kingdom.

She is thrilled. She was hoping she would be at Magic Kingdom. That was her first choice (if they would have given her one).

Now, she just has to wait until she gets back there next week and shows up at check in and then does her Traditions training and anything else she needs to do. So, I am hoping by the time we hit San Francisco on the repo, she might have some info for me!

Same here - except the "eliminating most" phase - I only eliminate when I cannot fit everything in bags allotted. This time, we added an allotted bag We did make it on the Baltic cruise (a total of a month long trip) in 2 large duffles, don't know how I did it now!

Lynn, that's exactly what we're packing...2 large rolling duffles. I don't know how I'm going to do it either. I have all the clothes packed, but there's no room for the bathroom bag and the medicine bag, etc. I was trying to eliminate a carry on and I don't think I'm going to be able to.

Hey Guys, keep those prayers coming. Jason's dad is scheduled for a heart cath Friday afternoon. His doctor believes that there's a blockage leading to the heart and a leaky ventricular valve. I pray this is something they can take care of through the cath and that there's nothing more serious that pops up. I really appreciate it!!!!
