North or South wing room at the CR? And why?

So. Which would you pick and why? Or which one have you chosen and were you happy with it or maybe wishing you chose the other? I'd like to see how many opinions I get. I really don't know which one we should pick and I'm hoping that I'll see all of your reasons and be able to make the right choice for us!

I think North is closer to the MK walkway and the parking lot. I would choose close to MK walkway.

North too, but it really is splitting a very fine hair. Don't forget to watch for the Water Pagent if you have a water view room, or go around for that matter if you don't. This is a very bonus for staying at CR. Enjoy!

It depends what you're looking for. I've never seen anything as quiet as where we were in the South wing overlooking the canal between BL and the SSL. Too quiet for me but if you wanted quiet that's the place to be! The pool was also right outside our door on the other side of the hallway which was convenient. We were upgraded to a garden room but sometimes I think we should have stuck with the standard room in the North wing overlooking the parking lot but closer to MK and the playground, but who knows, maybe we'd be saying now we wished we took the garden room!

We stayed in the South Wing last June, we were happy with it. We requested "As close to the main building as possible." We were about 4 doors down from the elevator, very convenient location. We had a standard room and could see the monorail from our room.

I just got back from staying in the south wing. I never heard anthing outside my room. it was very quiet. The walk to the tower seems very short after you've been walking the parks all day.

We stayed in the North end. Each morning we went out the door and into the food area door and straight to the escalators for the monorail. We set outside on the benches one night and watched some of the fireworks from the castle. ( actually a cm told my kids to sit tight because Mickey had something planned for them, within minutes the first fireworks went off ). It was a greaty moment.
