North Myrtle Beach condo questions

We are hoping to go to North Myrtle Beach in SC for vacation this summer. I have been looking at a few places and just wondering if anyone has stayed there or heard any comments on them.

We can get a good deal at The Oceans, (2501 N. Ocean Blvd), Laguna Keys (5700 N. Ocean Blvd) has a lazy river the kids would love and it is only about 1 year old. We are also considering Bay Watch (2701 S. Ocean Blvd). We have stayed here for a couple of days before and the kids loved the pools, etc. that they had.

Just looking for any opinions on those places.

Well I can't comment on those places, but I'll throw another into the mix. We stayed at the Beach Cove Resort a few years ago and loved it! It is at the very beginning of North Myrtle Beach. It is directly across from Barefoot Landing, but oceanfront of course. It is a beautiful resort with several pools and a lazy river. We keep saying we're going back, but we just can't seem to get there!

Anyway check it out... I know they have 1 BR Exec. Suites and also 2 & 3 BR condos.

Thanks, Mercy. I will have to check out the Beach Cove. I love planning trips!!

Now we might be putting the beach vacation together w/ a short Washington DC trip, so we might just have to get a regular motel for 5 or 6 nights. There aren't many of them left in NMB, but we stayed at the Blockade Runner in between Ocean Drive and Cherry Grove and liked that and they have good rates. I just really miss the extra space of a condo though! Even a 1 bedroom makes such a difference!
