Norm and his mind-boggling talents have been the topic of conversation between myself and others on numerous occasions.

His house must be loaded with one of a kind, priceless "goodies"!

He did a show a few years ago where he did some built-in cabinets and shelf units in a room in his house. You can see some of the projects he has done in the house. Also, a lot of the furniture ends up in Russel Morash's house (he's the producer).

I know folks who have met Norm Abrams, and they all report that he is as nice and genuine a person as he appears in New Yankee Workshop and This Old House. I would love to meet the guy.

Thanks. It was the first project I ever did with rough sawn lumber. I have a planer and jointer and used the techniques I learned from watching Norm to turn the lumber into straight, flat boards. It was a challenge but I like it and I scored a lot of points with She Who Must Be Obeyed.
