Norfolk, Va welcones the Disney Magic!!

Hi all! Just in case you're wondering where she went, the Disney Magic is sitting in the NORSHIPCO Drydock in Norfolk, Va. This seems to be the second trip she has made to Norfolk. She was here a couple years ago around Christmas. I have to say that she sure does add a lot of wonderful color to what is normally with a bunch of gray boring Navy ships. And if you thought she was big when you saw her in Port Canaveral, imagine what she looks like completely out of the water. Just wish we could keep her here....

I had read somwhere that the Magic was supposed to leave Virginia on Wed. 10/8 and head back to Port Canaveral. I know those sailing on 10/11 can't wait to see her back in her home port!!! Sad to say, I am not one of those 10/11 sailors.

Since we leave tomorrow for PC, we are hopefull we will get to see the Magic in port when we get there Friday afternoon!

I can't wait to hear about the changes to the Magic from the 10-11-03 cruisers! I wish I would be there too! We are September cruisers, and won't be on the Magic until next September (my twin DD's birthdays--so we sail once a year for their birthdays).

I got to see the boat in drydock this past sunday! I took pictures , but the sun was directly in my camera so they came out too dark. I know people thought we were crazy , because we were on a bridge and I was leaning out the window snapping pictures while my husband drove . Boy, I can't wait to actually go on a Disney Cruise ! I got Disney homesick just looking at her. Tell later ....Cyndi
