Norah meets our Senators

Norah (17) is in DC this week participating in the Presidential Classroom Program...she has been calling every evening and is having a ball.

She was right downstairs from Colin Powell today as he had his news conference upstairs...they met with one of his aides.

Tonight she tells us that each participant gets to meet with their state senators and representatives. There are 5 kids from Massachusetts and tomorrow they get to meet and ask questions of Senator Kerry and Senator Kennedy. On Wednesday she will meet with Representative Delahunt.

What an exciting and interesting time to be in DC...what an experience.

That is so awesome Vanessa. I hope she has some doozy questions for our Bozo senators OK, so I don't like either very much. I agree what a time for her to be there, and what an experience of a lifetime. Tell her we are proud of her, and tell her not to forget to have a little fun sprinkled in there!!!
