Not a snow-balls chance in hell. There is a saying...kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray. My DH quit right before I first met him after his father died of a heart attack. He says he still misses it sometimes (and it's been over 10 years!).
I once kissed a smoker. NEVER AGAIN, it was so gross!!!
I can't imagine waking up next t someone smelling like smoke or so.
Next to that, it costs an awful lot of money. Life is already very expensive, and there are better things to spend the money on (for the smokers: just calculate how much you spend each year on smoking. I bet you can take at least one wonderful family vacation with that money)
In regards with the cost: last year, at my previous job, one of the other employees was quite jealous about me because I was going to
Disneyland Paris, staying at a deluxe hotel, ... She had one of the jobs for the unschooled people, and she made less money than I did; next to that she also had a daughter, while I still lived at my parents. She made some mean remarks about life being easy for me, that I swam in money (right, I just have to pick it from the trees!) and that it wasn't difficult for me to go to DLP staying at the deluxe hotel.
I asked her how much sigarettes she smoked. I made a quick calculation. If she stopped smoking, she could spend many weeks at the deluxe hotel at DLP!
It made her shut up.
