I've got certain things I eat inside the parks on every trip, but I've never spent much time eating at the resorts and DTD. Are there any must-haves that I should definitely try? Not just restaurants, but specific things?

Sanaa is a new favorite of ours. Love the food and atmosphere. AKL is always worth a visit.

We loved riding bikes at Fort Wilderness, too. There is a beautiful trail between FW and WL in addition to all of the bike riding at FW.

Beignets at POFQ. We wander over from POR to get them.

Oh yes. I need to do that! I'll be at POR.

I was thinking about Sanaa! It looks interesting, and I am planning on visiting AKL anyway. Would you say that is the best restaurant there?

My trip is approaching, so I thought I'd revisit this. Any new thoughts?

I loved the crab rangoon "sushi" (not really sushi, but it looks like it) at the Polynesian. It was so worth the trip over after the MK one day and then we got to explore the resort.

All have their appeal. Sanaa for a lunch is great as you might be able to score a window or windowish seat to see any animals that might be about. Jiko provides some of the best exotic meals you can find and Boma is a very good buffet. For a day visit I might pick Sanaa and then walk back to Jambo House after checking the savanah outside of Sanaa.

Great advice! Thank you!

The Poly in general just has a lot of great offerings. Have you booked a meal at Ohana's for dinner? That's one of my favorites, their BBQ skewers are fantastic. If not, definitely try to do a lunch or dinner at the Kona cafe or their QS restaurant. Have a fun trip!

Thanks! I love the Poly! I have never eaten at Ohana and it's been years since I've eaten at Kona. I may have to go there twice.
