Many times the question comes up about 3rd party batteries, are they any good since they are so much less $$$ than OEM batteries. I always answer that we can never be sure the 3rd party batteries include the required protection circuitry, that the seller is not likely to repair any damage the products caused, and that our camera manufacturer will not likely honor any warranty when 3rd party products are used.
