My DD likes to make calendars for our trips by pasting onto a small poster board pictures of the places we'll go and things we'll do each day. We are planning to surprise her with news of our upcoming WDW trip the morning we leave, so there won't be time to do the calendar at home. I was hoping to bring the materials onboard and let her do the calendar during the flight to Orlando. Does anyone know if either TSA or a flight crew will allow us to carry/use one of those non-flammable glue sticks as long as it it less than 3 oz?

Thanks for the help!

As long as it is one you would find in an elementary school room i can't see they would even notice it, no longer care in the slightest. Now a pair of scissors may be an issue... :) Even a pair of stubbies (child proof scissors) could be considered a tool (i.e. screwdriver so on) so that may be difficult. Have a great trip.

Actually you can take scissors -- as long as the blade is less than 4 inches.

Thanks for the responses everyone. We'll put the glue stick in our quart sized bag and hope for the best, but also bring along some double sided tape just in case!
