I might be going to MK for one day next month. Also may be going for Princess Half weekend in Feb (2-3 park days). Should I just buy separate tickets for each trip? What is the advantage in getting non exp. tickets other then the fact that they don't expire. Seems like it's cheaper to get seperate tickets.

If it's indeed cheaper to buy separate tickets then you don't need non-expiring ones. However, a one-day ticket is proportionally the most expensive ticket out there (especially at MK). You should really make sure that a one day ticket plus a three day ticket is actually cheaper than a four-day non-expiring ticket.

I would consider getting a 10 day no-expire ticket if you know you will be going back several times in the next 5 years. Never use them on a trip you will be buying tickets for 4 or more days though.

Does anyone know how magic bands and FP+ reservations work for people with no-expire tickets? Is it the same as having an AP? Link the tickets to MDE and you can make selections any time withing the 30 day window?

I don't think you can buy non expiring tickets anymore, as of last year.. at least online.. something changed about non expiring last year..

You can buy NE tickets from UCT, that's what we did last fall. And I think you can upgrade regular tickets to NE once you are at WDW. Not sure why you can't order them direct from Disney anymore though.

The 10-day NE is the way to go if you think you might make several short trips over the next few years. You will pay less per day, and not be affected by price hikes.

Ours are linked to our MBs and we were able to make FP selections ahead of time with no problem.

You can't get them online from Disney, but you can phone Disney to order them, or get them in person.

We bought 10 day non-expiring tickets in 2008. We plan to use 3 of the remaining 6 days this July. It is making a trip possible that we ordinarily could not take.

We buy the non-expiring tickets for a few of reasons: We go often, and these work well for shorter trips. We get them with PHWPFM, so we get the 10 WPFM options which we use at the rate of 2-3/year. This means that when we buy APs, we we don't have to pay extra $$$ for the PAPs. We just use the WP options on our NE tix.
