I have 4 adult and 1 child no expiration one park per day 8 day pass. I bought them with the plan on using them in 2024 when my youngest turns 9. With all the changes since covid I really don't see a Disney trip to be a reasonable value anymore. What are my options now? Could I sell them? They are attached to MDE. I could still go if I have to but it just isn't the same as we were able to enjoy a lot of things that are no longer available. Any tips?

If they are wholly unused, they can be transferred to others. If you used even one day, you will not be able to transfer them to other people.

They are worth their weight in gold.
The value is going to grow each year.

I would sell them for double the cost today or hold on to them for your grandkids.

I have not used them at all. How would I go about selling them. Today's value is $3,435.24 but probably more because of the freedom it allows

Can't they only be transferred to people in your MDE account since they are already attached? Makes it a little more complicated, but could be done.

Can they be removed to MDE?
No, once linked to MDE tickets can be transferred to another guest if fully unused but not removed (except maybe for some rare circumstances onsite). You would need to trust anyone you decide to link with for a transfer.

“Value” of no-expire tickets is subjective due to the nature of the no-expire plus the price differences by date. AllEars.net has historical records of the cost. I don’t believe you can legally exchange them with another guest for more; WDW would not give "today's value" either if anyone wanted to upgrade (add days and/or hopper or PH+).

I would not assume you will get full price, unless you are selling them to someone you know. Otherwise, you are Some Guy On The Internet selling tickets. And sure, you are an honest guy, but lots of other people are not. The prospective buyer has no way of knowing.

I agree. Some stranger selling it on Ebay could be running a scam (or the tickets are stolen/expired) and you have NO way to know that. No one has any way to know if you are an honest person until it's too late. I would either keep them for use in the future or if you never intend to return to Disney try to sell it to a relative/friend/neighbor/co-worker who will know you aren't selling them something this is bogus or some sort of scam. Chances are from that list of people, you know someone who goes to Disney and would be interested in using them.

I personally would never buy Disney tickets online from a stranger since way too many things can go wrong.

Out of curiosity - when did you purchase these? Are we sure we're truly talking about non-expiration tickets which haven't been sold in a very long time.
Yes, this. They stopped selling the true no expiration tickets in early 2015 (the ones that didn't expire within 14 days of first use). Then they started having tickets that expire within 14 days of use, but don't have a specific "valid through" date. Now they have these date specific ones that are incredibly annoying.

That's what I was wondering. That statement that he purchased these to use on a 9th birthday next year meant he would have basically have had to purchase these tickets when the child was born 9 years ago with the intent not to use for nine years which sounds really odd . . .

I purchased true non-expiry tickets back in 2012. What's the easiest (i.e. least time consuming) to see how many days are left on each ticket? I see the tickets in MDE but there is no option to click on them to find this information.

I have a 10-day NE PH ticket. When I go to Tickets and Passes in MDE, the ticket shows up with the days remaining under the bar code. Not sure why you're seeing something different.
