You have no idea what anybody can afford. You have no idea what people paid to get on the ship. It's called saving & budgeting every penny to make a dream come true for yourself or your kids. For some it's a once in a lifetime trip so excuse me if anybody wants to save 100 in baggage fees. That's money that could be spent on the ship.
And it WAS what that kind of entitlement that led to DCL removing the dress code.
Some couldn't afford to cruise with the dress code and ignored the requirements at a first, then the recommendation and suggestions.
Now I would love to book a private charter yacht as was suggested before.
I cannot afford that, so I don't.
If you cannot afford to dress as requested then you cannot afford to cruise on that line!
You are not entitled to a dream come true cruise and ignore what is asked of you if you cannot do what they ask of you.
I want I want, I should be able to, It's my vacation = Entitlement.

I highly doubt this is a lurker or someone who just stumbled across this thread but is actually an alt for someone else.
No one is ever going to agree so let's all just agree to disagree on this subject.
