Non DVC prices

Just got back from a perfect week in WDW...ok, so nearly perfect.

Met a guy in the hot tub at SSR. He is paying a whopping $525 per night x 8 nights to stay in a 2br at SSR. Wow! In one week he is spending nearly a third of the cost of purchasing an ownership in DVC. He said he is considering joining.

I think he'd be crazy not to join if that's how he travels every year.

What do you think??

He's nuts! Either that or really wealthy if he plans to travel that way every year!

Gee, did he include the 11.5% hotel tax? Or worse yet, if he went in peak season during March/April dates, he'd shell-out a cool $802.80 per NIGHT including tax rack rate.
