European: Quinta Do Lago, Algarve. We and some friends have rented the same villa for 2 years and love it, definitely a must-visit every year in May for sunshine, relaxing and Playing Golf!!!

British Destination: Bath or London

Weekend Break: Disneyland Paris!!

DayTrip: Legoland Windsor, We are just 15/20 minutes away!

All your destinations sound so exotic from this vantage point.

Here are my choices.

European: Rome (need two solid weeks to do it properly)

UK: London (spend every night at the theatre)

Weekend Trip: Billsburg, Virginia

Day Trip: Hit the Museums in DC

Here's mine..

European - probably France with a trip to DLP but want to try Venice next.

UK - London

Weekend break - New York

Day out - Legoland

:)

Very difficult to make only one choice for each.

European.
Zante, Ionian Sea. The most friendly islanders I've ever met. Total relaxation with a relatively unspoit feel to the place.

UK.
New Forest/Dorset coast. many happy memories from my childhood and beyond.

Weekend.
Saint Malo/Dinan, Moules et frites, Normandie Cidre and Crepes. St Malo is a reconstructed fortified town and Dinan is a charming hilltop medieval walled town. Just don't refer to anything as French, they are very protective of their Breton roots !

Daytrip.
We live 12 miles from Edinburgh and go there most Sundays, never tire of the city, especially in the summer when Charlotte can ride on the carousel in the gardens..

U lot seem to love disney land Paris, is it good we want to go but seems alot of mo ey for 3 days £2-300 adults & £100 for kids how do you do it any cheaper PLEASE let me know, wanna go wanna go.

European:, the Vendes (France) good wine, beer, food, oh & beaches

No idea how I have managed to miss this post

European : Somewhere in Majorca.

UK : North of Scotland, there is soooo much of this beautiful
country I have never seen.

Weekend Break: New York or London.

Day Trip : Loch Lomond.

:D Good thread, Dave.

European: Anywhere in the mountains for skiing/or any time of the year:D

UK: North Molton in North Devon, on our friend's sheep farm on Exmoor . . . doesn't get much more bootiful than this my lovers;)

Weekend Break: Never been on one (well the one time we did try - Darryl was taking me down to N devon for Valentine's Day weekend, Friday 13th February . . . . I fell down the stairs in my haste to get Katie packed off to Nanny's and mangled my ankle, so spent a really really romantic week and a bit in Southampton General having a meccano set inserted in my leg - Darryl's not tried anything again. HINT THERE DEAR.

But who knows, it might be Spennymoor after the Dis meet :).

Day Trip: Isle of Wight - 25 mins across the water from where we live:cool:

Dave,

My favorite non-Disney places are:

Outside of the US: Montego Bay, Jamaica

In the UK: I desperately want to visit a friend in Clackmannanshire, Scotland, so that she could show us Edinburgh and many other things.

In the US: New York City

Day trip: Colonial Williamsburg
