We'll be at MNSSHP for the first time on 10/31 and doesn't it just figure that our kids this year do NOT want to dress as Disney characters (despite the fact that we own just about every Disney dress-up outfit going). So here's my question -- at MNSSHP do most kids dress "Disney"? Or is there as much variety of costumes (or almost as much) as anywhere else on Halloween?

Thanks for any info!

YES you can dress non disney! It makes you stand our more! :)

Have Fun!

There are plenty of people in non-Disney costumes. 2 years ago my son went as Spiderman....and I saw at least 10 other "Spidermen" that night.

I was seriously considering going as Fiona from Shrek, in her ogre form! Virtually all the female Disney characters are thin, and I'm NOT. (Well, I'd love to go as Ursula, but that would be a hard costume to do well, with her tenacles instead of legs.)

As it turned out, I haven't had time to get a costume together. Maybe next year.....

We just got home from our trip and were at the 10/01 MNSSHP... there was a tremendous variety of costumes... I wouldn't worry about it... go and have a great time!

Just to let you know my kids aren't wearing Disney costumes either and we will be there 10/31. Awhile ago there was a thread by someone whose DS wanted to be Spiderman. There were many posts saying "oh, my DS is going as Spiderman too". In other words, I think you're kids will be just fine!

We will be there on 31st also and dd6 is going as a cheetah and dd4 as a bat.
