Does anyone have good ideas for a non-character breakfast? We are 2, 20-something adults (okay, I'm 30-something). We aren't opposed to character meals, just don't really have to have them.

We are going to do CP and Kona, but would like one other idea.

Thanks!

Boma has a breakfast buffet with lots of traditional items, plus a few with African overtones. It was really good. We liked the sausage and biscuit skillet and the quinoa the best. The juice (West African Frunch) was also really good.

I also had breakfast at Kona, and it was good. The Macadamia pancakes was the most popular in our group, but we also tried the Tonga Toast and Big Kahuna.

We love, love, love the Wave breakfast. We also like the Kona Cafe breakfast but find it noisy. Also, the Grand Floridian cafe has great breakfast, although a slightly smaller menu, but is delightfully quiet.

We really enjoy the breakfast at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge...We have been a few times and loved it....Noise level is high but we didn't mind it....Menu is small but the food was very well-prepared...

We also really liked the Captains Grill at the Yacht Club...They have a menu and a buffet option...We were with a large group and all enjoyed it...The atmosphere is very calm and the food was very good...

We too really liked Kona...DH says the press pot coffee is wonderful....We did not find the noise level to be high but the place was only half full when we were there.

Another vote for Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We really loved the food and the atmosphere and afterwards, we took a quick stroll around the resort itself - awesome lobby!

Kona at the Poly it is a must do on every vacation we go too. Best breakfast I have had at Disney. Love this place and so friendly....

We love WCC and Boma. WCC a little noisey but the food is really good. They have an all you can eat skillet for about $15 not bad for Disney prices. You get scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy biscuits, potatoes, and Mickey waffles.

Boma was great. You get the traditional American buffet type stuff with Afirican fare also. I really love this mustard glaze they have for the ham, I wanted to stick a straw in it and drink it. We also spent the morning wandering around the resort, checking it out to see if we might want to stay there our next trip. Just our luck all the animals had run away, there wasn't one to be seen. They were all having breakfast also, darn it.

Highly recommend both places.

Trails End at Fort Wilderness- usually not crowded, inexpensive and good variety.
