Nomad Lounge wait times

What have your experiences been re: wait times walking up to Nomad Lounge? I will be solo- is that an advantage to getting a seat at the bar?

I'd get in line before they open. I think they were taking names for a list, but I'm not sure if they are still doing that.

You will definitely be at an advantage as a solo guest. DH and I did a walk-up late afternoon in October and had a 5 minute wait as a party of 2 (we had used the wait list option on the app). If there is no availability when you walk-up, go on the app and put yourself on the wait list.

On this most recent trip we checked for walk-up availability all through out the morning/early afternoon and it was at capacity. Around 1:00 it opened up and was a 50 minute wait, it ended up being 40ish and were sat on the patio (party of 2).

We sat and waited quite a while to place our order for a drink, and then the same for food. We also noticed lots of groups were finished, but, waiting around for their checks. Once those parties received their checks and left, it was still quite a while before their tables were even cleaned off and then another wait before a cast member with the iPad came around and "updated" the table.

Wondering if Nomad just is very short staffed and is causing a domino effect on wait times etc. By the time we finished up and waited around for our check and went to leave, we noticed lots of empty tables, even inside. That was closer to 3:30/4 pm.

During Thanksgiving week, we walked up at about 4:45pm and were told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I believe MDE at the time showed an hour wait. We only waited about 5-10 minutes and were lucky to get a table in the uncovered seating area by the water where we got to see a cavalcade. Party of two. I think being a smaller party definitely helps.
