noise canceling headphones recs?

can anyone recommend the ear muffs/noise canceling headphones (which is the right term?) they use for their kids for loud shows, rides, fireworks etc? My 2.5 year is holding his hands over his ears during loud stuff (honestly I can't blame him, a lot of times the stuff way too loud!) and I think he'll enjoy Disney more if he doesn't have to cover his ear most of the time.

I bought the Peltor Kids' earmuffs for my DD. They are comfortable and DD likes wearing them. They come in different colors, but here's a link to the pink ones that we have.

We have the same kind, highly recommend them. My son hated fireworks, rides, loud shows...now we enjoy them all!

The other thing that made a difference, and I'm not exactly sure why, was an ipod touch. He loves to take videos of the fireworks, rides and shows, and watch them later...maybe because he can control the volume? Maybe because watching though the camera lens is less threatening?
