Have read several posts about road noise at the BCV. Like to hear from folks that have stayed there.
Thanks

The only noise we had was from the elevator. Maybe ask for a room a few doors down from the elevator. We were on the 5th floor, Epcot side, the road noise was not a factor unless you left the balcony door open.

Fourth floor, pool view, five doors down from the elevator and it couldn't have been more quiet. I think in five days I only saw five people in the halls.

Now OKW on the other hand was extremely loud. I think the walls must be thinner there or something.

Never had a noise problem at BCV......316, 344, 563, 561, 463 (2). I can live with the
"elevator noise" . It's not really a noise
but a HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Thanks everyone for the information..Since we will have a baby along we requested a room away from elevator..We can not wait for our Dec vist.

Room 461 Epcot view and near elevator. No noise, but could hear cars on the road whn it was quiet in the room. Certainly nothing like a Mac truck driving thru the room or anything, just background noise.

3 stays in 3 different areas and the only noise I've ever heard is from the bridge between BCV and EPCOT the CLICK CLICK CLICK as cars pass over the joints in the bridge. I've never heard noises from other rooms or in the halls. I do, however, always request top floor because we HATE to hear toilets flushing over us all night. But I have never heard them from neighbors either.

We stayed 6 nights. One of those nights there was extreme noise from the "quiet" pool that awoke me at about 1am. I thought about calling the front desk but fell asleep.

We requested a quiet location last week and got a "woodlands view." We never heard another human the entire week, although there was some sound from plumbing when other guests would fill the hot tub or flush the toilet.

We've had 544 and 546 facing Epcot. Same story -- no road noise if balcony door closed, and not all that bad even when it's open.

There isn't a lot of traffic since no one HAS to use that section of road. Only reason to go that way is vehicles going directly from S/D, YC, or BC to Boardwalk, or vice versa. And BC/BCV guests who realize that it's actually quicker to ...... oops, forget I said that!

I think it would be worst in a 1st or 2nd floor room near the end of the building.

When we stayed in rooms facing Epcot, we noticed no noise. When we stayed in room 566 (I think that is the right number), there was a great deal of noise from the elevator (which was on the other side of our room), which was extremely annoying. If you were outside on the balcony, there was some low-level noise from the pool below, but nothing bothersome.

We've stayed facing epcot (I can't really call it a "woods" view after the hurricanes) a couple of times and haven't noticed noise from the road. One thing is, there is a wing in the center of the resort that goes toward epcot, so that might be a little noisier. It's really never been a bother to us at all though.

The only noise I have heard at the BCV was the same noise I heard at the BWV. The sound of screaming children running up and down the hall like the were training for rope drop at the MK:smooth:
