NOBODY IS MORE SURPRISED THAN US! GKTW alumni return! 10/21 MOVING DAY!!

Judy, Hope ya'll are having a great weekend.

I was in urgent care yesterday with JJ. Today he is doing fine, but he gave me quite the scare yesterday. A new med was added to the mix. So far so good.

Sandra, I'm so glad you are able to go public! Congratulations, I'm so totally excited for you!!! Is it still a secret on fb or is it public there now too?

You are and have been a great friend Tracy, I feel the same way! :goodvibes

I am SO excited you get to go on your vacation soon!!! What an exciting time to explore, connect with friends and be away from work! :woohoo: And weddings are fun, especially when it is with people you like a lot. Lisa truly IS feeling so much better, although the cough is creeping back here and there, makes me wary but I am watching her. She still has two more weeks of antibiotics, she finished the steroids Thursday. I love seeing her playing again and her fatigue is not all day, although I will find her lying down at various points in the house because she just gave out.

I DO wish you were here to enjoy the movie days...not sure which day we will actually watch Christians movie, he has a few things planned this weekend, so he will let me know today. Have a marvelous day!!!!
I am looking forward to the trip! I spent a few thanksgivings with my friend's family during university, since hers were so much closer than mine, so I'm excited to see them all again.

It was a beautiful sunny day today! I took a photo of one of my flower planters that I had made this spring and I thought I would share but the photo is on my phone, which is not co-operating. If I get it to work I will post latter.

Hope Lisa continues to improve and you all are having a great weekend!

Congrats Sandra, praying for a healthy pregnancy!

Glad JJ is ok after the scare!

Praying for Benjamin.

Ok, I am going out of order again, but I have been sitting here for over and hour trying to get the DIS to cooperate with me and grinning like a fool You will see why!

Sandra has finally felt as if she could share the news of the Baby!!!! I feel like I am going to be an Aunt again!! She has been through so MUCH to have this little one and had a lot of pain along the way. SO many prayers have been answered, now to have a happy, healthy pregnancy and baby is the big one! Sandra, you know how I feel, take care of YOU and I will be here when you can be. I can FINALLY say publicly:

I figured once I hit the magical 12 weeks I could share (yes I do know things can still happen but I'm being positive!!) Thank you so much for being such a sweet friend and letting me probably share to much info at times but I felt you genuinely understood what I was saying and where I was coming from! Yes you are becoming an Aunt again!! When you become a dear friend to me you become family. :grouphug: My next appointment is August 14 so I'll keep everyone posted on how things are going.

Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes!!

I'm also glad to read that Lisa is finally feeing better!!! Hope she continues to be on the mend and can't wait to see what Christian decided on!

Congratulations! I love the new ticker, I am sure everyone will follow along, keep us updated!

I have seen where you live before but never thought about it, my grandparents used to live there!

Thank you! I'll be sure to share.

We love living here! It might be a more expensive than other places we could move to but I love our neighbors and schools. The kids have made some great friends and I've already had some of their mom's tell me to let me know if I need help with getting the kids to or from school either now before the baby is born or even after. I've also had one of the mom's tell me that I can leave the kids with them if I have to when I go into labor so that's a huge weight off my shoulders!!

I have had a really sad week. At the end of April my puppy dog Maxine was diagnosed with cancer in her jaw. She is my best friend and stood beside me for 14 years. The vet thought she had about 6 months but unfortunately she was called home last weekend. I am devastated by her loss. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that she is really gone.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your best friend. It is very hard to deal with. I'm thankful every day the 9 great years I had with my first baby Bear. He was 9 when he was diagnosed with cancer and we actually had to make the decision to put him down. It was very fast growing and within a week of us finding lumps on his neck they had grown and it was already traveling. I still miss him every day and he's been gone for 4 years in September. :sad2: Hugs and prayers for you and that you know she is no longer in pain.

Sandra, congratulations on the baby. I will be praying for an uneventful pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Thank you! We are very excited and all I want is a healthy baby at the end of it all.

Congratulations! Praying for a healthy pregnancy for you. We had four and I think it was the perfect number for us.

Thank you! After my 3rd was born I just felt like something was missing so we'll see what happens after this one is here with us. I think 4 is our magic number too though (most rides at Disney are for even numbered riders!! :lmao:)

Sandra, I'm so glad you are able to go public! Congratulations, I'm so totally excited for you!!! Is it still a secret on fb or is it public there now too?

Thank you!! I think the timing is right to go public. Haven't gone totally public on FB yet. Some family members don't know yet and I'm not just not ready to deal with their comments.

Congrats Sandra, praying for a healthy pregnancy!

Thank you!! We couldn't be happier!!

Thank you Sandra...yes she is at peace now...

Congratulations...sorry I forgot to mention that before I have been a mess this week...I'm praying for you and your family.

I haven't read everything yet, but I wanted to pop in and say hello! :) It is so great that you get to go back to Florida, and I hope that you are able to get that same villa - it is gorgeous! I love that you are doing movie nights for this trip, they are such a nice way for families to bond and get ready for a trip. I look forward to reading the rest!

MADELINE!!!! :welcome::welcome::welcome: You made my day when I read this the other day! I think of Mallory and your sweet family all of the time and would dearly LOVE to see some pics!!! You all hold such a special place in my heart and I was thrilled you finished your TR! It can be daunting to come back from a wish trip and start back in with all of the medical stuff. Now it is a special book for Mallory to have always and to share with others as well, how special is that!?!!

Yes ma'am, as a wish family you can ALWAYS return as a Welcome Back family and do EVERYTHING you did on the wish trip (except sleep there, sadly...and get pizza at night. My kids thought that was the COOLEST thing, Free pizza delivered after 10 PM at night)!

I truly AM glad to see you back on the DISboards!!!Could there be a trip in your near future??? popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

Hi again, :wave2:

Thanks for the sweet reply. I saw on your ticker that you are under the 2 month mark, Hooray!! Your last movie night looked so fun. I showed the whole family the strawberries you made, we were all drooling. :rotfl2: I hope that Lisa is feeling better. I could relate to your being so happy to hear her sing. :goodvibes

Oh and I'm glad to hear that wish families can return to GKTW and participate in all the fun!! We do not have trip plans in the near future, maybe 2-3 years. I would love to go back while Mallory is still young!! :lovestruc The whole pizza thing was awesome!! I think we got pizza every night!! :lmao:

Here are some recent pictures of the kids:

This was our family vacation this year. We went on a cruise with my side of the family. It was so much fun and we booked early so we got a great rate.

Mallory's Baptism (last month)

Can't wait to hear more movies nights and trip plans.

See you soon,

Madeline

Thank you Sandra...yes she is at peace now...

Congratulations...sorry I forgot to mention that before I have been a mess this week...I'm praying for you and your family.

You've had too much on your plate. I just hope you can move forward from this loss, you'll never forget her because no matter what she will still be a part of you.

Thank you! We are pretty excited and just continue to hope for a healthy pregnancy and baby through this.

Here are some recent pictures of the kids:

Ok I have to know. When did you go on your cruise? We went on that same ship on May 20 - 24! We booked very last minute (2 weeks before the cruise left) and ended up with a pretty great rate too. We're already looking at when we can cruise again with the kids because they did great and loved the kids club!!

Happy Saturday...Judy I can't believe you found time to do all those replies...you are amazing! I hope both girls are feeling better and your Dad is willing to check in with his doctor.

I am excited to see what Christian plans for the movie night. Your whole family is so creative.

I know to some people she is only a dog but to me she was my world.

Sorry...don't want to be a downer and I know she is happy and healthy now but dearly missed.

I'll be watching for the pictures of the movie night. My sisters and I decided to head over to San Diego for a few days next week to get away and regroup before the school year starts (they are both teachers and I work at auniversity) it is going to get busy quickly. We love the zoo over there and will spend time wandering around there.

Oh Dawn, :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: I am TRULY sorry about Maxine! She is FAR MORE than just a dog, she was your family, your companion, your comforter and friend! I hope you can have some time away with your sisters to heal. Maxine will always be a part of your heart that you love and miss and I am praying for your sad heart!!! :goodvibes

Love your Disney movie fun, I liked your flyer. I thought the guys did a great job on the cookies. Who decorated the berries, they looked good. That blue sugar was a nice touch. I hope Lisa continues to feel better.
It was fun to see them take the lead and crate from scratch a delicious cooke with no help from me!
I'm glad that Lisa is starting to feel better. I hope it continues!!

OMG! I love the red, white and blue strawberries! They don't just look like fun but they also look delicious!! We love strawberries!!

Had another appointment today and everything is going great!!!
Those Strawberries were delicious! I did them and they weren't difficult, just wish I has some now! :lmao:
I hope Lisa wakes up feeling much better today and that your worries are few. France, I wonder what Christian has in mind?
He did an amazing job...not what I envisioned, which makes this fun.
What an adorable movie night!

Amanda
It was great fun Amanda, loved it! And love seeing you here. :goodvibes

I am still here and praying for everyone to feel better soon. I have just been checking in the last few days because I aggravated an old wrist injury and have been wearing the brace which makes it hard to type, but I am reading.
If I could ask for some prayers for my dad he has been having some issues that are getting worse the last few days and the next step is surgery so I am hoping he gets better and doesn't have to have that.

Thoughts and prayers to all that need them.
I hope your Dad is MUCH better and your wrist is feeling better as well, It is hard to type when our hands, arms, fingers hurt!
Hi Judy, Great movie night pictures! Glad that Lisa seems to be feeling better.

We've talked about the wheat elimination that's been helping my husband and I with some health issues...sinuses is one of them besides lowering his blood sugar (102 this morning :thumbsup2). Just read from the wheatbellyblog.com about "Mucous flows where wheat goes" http://www.wheatbellyblog.com/2013/07/mucous-flows-where-wheat-goes/#comments and thought of Lisa and others that seem to be having sinus problems. Have you all tried eliminating wheat for a month and seeing if the symptoms get better or goes away? This modern dwarf wheat (started around 1980) is horrible stuff and it's in almost all processed foods now. If you want to learn more about it, you can go on YouTube and search for Dr. William Davis to hear what he has learned treating his patients as a cardiologist. I listened this morning to this interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Jsi3RlWz48 Just seeing first hand that this really works for us and want others to see the dangers of consuming this poison into their body along with their family members. This is life changing for us and there's no going back eating wheat again now that we know the truth about it. We have shared this knowledge with friends and family. Some embrace it and others do not. Okay, off my soapbox. Hope this information can be of help to you all and that as you learn, you can pass it on to those you love too.

Prayers for all those who requested it!
Gail LOVED talking to you yesterday, THANK YOU for always being there, I just love you and Billy to pieces and it was fun to chat with him as well! You two are the BEST! :goodvibesI was glad to pick your mind and ask questions about the wheat belly diet, I want more info and to see how I can incorporate it into or budget. PLease don't over do it as you take care of everything! You have my prayers always!
Judy, Good to see you on and also to know Lisa is doing a little better. Loved the pics of you Movie Night Celebration.
It was fun, so happy the children are home!
JJ had a pretty good day yesterday! He is so excited for tonight. He can't wait to see the Disney Channel movie Teen Beach. Today we have to go grocery shopping. That is the only outing on tap. But we are getting snacks and food to take to the beach tomorrow! It's been over 2 years since we've had JJ at the beach. I don't even know where any of his sand toys are. We'll be leaving the house when it's time for his 6am meds.

I had looked into staying somewhere this weekend, but the rates are super high. Places we usually paid $75 a night were up around $200. Hoping he lasts til noon.

He had a seizure this morning. It wasn't bad, just odd. He was smelling things, probably part of his aura?

I pray JJ (look, no typo today...because I just fixed it, I had 3 J's again) is MUCH better now and that he enjoyed the movie. Was it good? I had wanted to watch it, but didn't. I know supply and demand brings the prices up, I just wish it didn't price you out of a room. I miss the beach, so desperately want to go for a few days...it has been to long. Back in the day, we could get a rom in the winter for eight bucks...now the hotels are too fancy for that! Tell our friend JJ we said hello!

Judy I am sorry I have been absent from your report and only found this today on Mickeytoontown. I am so happy for your family that you are going back to Florida. We too are planning a trip 11/28_12/7, it is going to be our Christmas this year instead of presents. Of course my grandson's will still get a present, just not us grown ups. I have always wanted to see the lights and I have been having more mobility issues and now that I am retired money is tight so our Disney days may be coming to an end. Anyway I am back and will be following along.
:welcome::welcome::welcome: SO happy you are here! Congratulations on the retirement!!! I am excited for that, not so much you might not be able to go to Disney. Would you be able to use a scooter if you could afford to go? You are going to Disney during my dream time! One of these days I am going to make it there, low crowds and see those lights would be fabulous! Sounds liej a great way to celebrate Christmas, I am happy for you! :goodvibes:goodvibes AND glad you are here!

Judy - your fingers HAVE to be exhausted today, it appears that your internet issues/computer issues are fixed :) Its great to have you back for your nightly updates, when you get on a roll, you get on a ROLL:cool1: I can't wait to see more of your movie nights, I would have LOVED the strawberries.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, I have to clean the house and pack for a trip to what I hope will be the cooler north.........anyone want to come help?
Internet is working :cheer2::cheer2: Computer is most of the time! I will take what I can get and yes, my fingers get tired, lol. I am NOT the best typist!

I have TWO movie nights to post and we are planning the next now! Christian and David did such an amazing job, Rachel was feeling the pressure. She scrapped her prior ideas (and movie) and picked a new one, so we have a fresh slate today to start planning. You know, you live close enough to eat strawberries with us sometime...just saying!

I hope you have a FABULOUS trip and great weather...big surprise we had a horrible storm last night, floods, neighbors tree broke in half...it has been so wild with the weather...
I hope all is well there today. I am sorry about your "friend" some people really don't get it.
I am praying for her, I love her and wish her only the best. She knows first hand I am not a gossip, and she knows I would never talk about her, because I never have about anyone else to her.
I knew I must have missed something a few days ago...I missed your movie night!! I have never seen that movie but am going to see if I can hunt it down. We're studying American History this year. Do you think it's something my 10 year old might enjoy? I have a hard time getting him "into" history.

The boys cookies looked delish! And those apple pie bites, well I'm not surprised they disappeared so quickly! What a fun night! :goodvibes

Praying that your dad makes the call to the doctor if he's still not feeling well today. My dad's stubborn like that as well and worse yet he won't tell anyone he's in pain. My mother is a retired nurse and catches his "tells" thankfully. Pop had quadruple bypass 2 years ago and recently started having some chest pain again. Luckily my mother saw the signs and got his tush to the doctor, but otherwise he would have never said a thing! So frustrating!! :headache:

Erika, I DO think your ten year old would like it. I also thing they would like Drive through History...it is a bit silly, definitely biblical based and throws n enough history to whet the appetite! They have one geared to America. Also, have you ever seen the Liberty Kids videos...I love them as well and it refreshes my memory of many things I have forgotten.

Dad did NOT make the call,I see him Wednesday, I am not calling I feel better...sure you do! Praying for your Dad as well! I am just thankful they are still here to cause us both a little worry!

Morning Judy, My chickadees are coming home this weekend! I'll have two whole days with Lacey and Jesse! Some of John's folks are coming over Saturday and we're going to a local bbq restaurant. Sunday, my family is coming over and who knows what all will go on. We're a pretty silly bunch so it may be one of those "what happens in our household stays in our household". :lmao:

Hope that you have a great weekend!
Thans for being here for me :goodvibes I hope you had the most marvelous weekend, I can't wait to read all about it, and I hope work is slow so you can post! I could enjoy some good barbecue! Anything exciting happen this weekend...?
Just popping on. We had a "groupon" type thing for 4 minor league baseball tickets for the price if 2 we had gotten. Just realized that with the team's schedule and Bill's approaching deployment this was about our last chance to do it all together. So it's Take Me Out to the Ball Game tonight! On our way to Zephyr Field with my folks.

Many prayers for all! I hope Lisa is growing stronger every day and that everyone else is doing well!
I hope the weekend was FABULOUS!!! You need to be planning what you are going to do the first few days Bill leaves, it is going to be tough. Have they set a date yet to leave? I cried and cried but it was also a relief to have the thing finally start, we had so many false days/times and it was nerve wracking. We actually went once and they sent us home for another few days...crazy...Christian was two weeks old when he left for the war. I am glad you have the wives support group and hope it helps! I know Kaity will be a great help, Christian kept me busy!

I owe you an email, thanks for understanding! :goodvibes I hope your week is off to a great start!

Oh Judy (and Debbie) I so understand this. I have lost many friends who accused me of not nurturing our friendship enough because I have to put John and the kids first and all of their needs and the stress that goes with it takes up so much of my time.
It is a painful experience to go through so many times. The funny thing is, I knew from the start this is how it was going to play out..I even called the length of time it would take and told her...until you have a person in your life with chronic illness, I truly don't think you can understand how it affects daily life. I am sorry you understand multiple times over. Praying for ALL your needs with great intention (I actually stopped to pray, that is why it takes me so long to write sometimes).

Trying to catch up after 2 full weeks at the lake with company the whole time. Very hot in the 90's the last few days and of course no air up there. Loved movie night and all the great food. As much as I love Disney I have not seen many movies. Finally borrowed Monsters, Inc from my daughter as Sulley is a favorite character of mine. I even got a stuffed one for my Disney room. Glad to hear good news about your dad. I'll pray he continues to improve and also that Lisa can beat this sinus infection. I'm glad to hear she's getting better.

HEAVEN! Lake, family/friends, NO Internet! NOT so good about no air though! Ack, it has been scorching! I haven't seen a lot myself of the Disney movies...I tuned them out so this has been good to see so many the children love. After last night I have a new favorite! :rolleyes1 I wold LOVE to see Monsters University not in the budget but I WILL see it eventually...I loved Monsters Inc! We are claiming only good news this week! I pray the same for you!

Glad that you and the girls were able to watch almost the whole movie before the interruption. I missed some after the first hour but saw the ending.

That's the same type of conversation we had with our daughter about removing the wheat from their diet because of the family's food budget. They make flour inexpensive and the whole foods are more expensive to feed a family. She says that with children, the food budget can get really high eliminating wheat. When you get the chance to hear what Dr. Davis says, most will want to eliminate the dwarf wheat from their family's diet because of the health consequences for everyone. She has a health issue and we told her about the wheat could be the cause of it. She experimented by not eating wheat for 10 days and she didn't have any problems. Then she decided to eat something with wheat and she didn't feel well that evening. She was tested for gluten intolerance but it didn't show she was sensitive to it. Dr. Davis says the problem in wheat in the 99% of the population is the gliadin not the gluten that 1% celiacs can't tolerate.

We finally got a little rain for a couple of days here. The plants in the garden loved it. Sorry that David's garden has been drowning in all the rain you've been getting. We always seem to be able to grow Swiss Chard and have a bed full of them. The squash plant is doing well but had to fence them off because we found the lizards were munching on some. Still waiting for the beans to show up. There's flower on them but no beans yet.

I have been using almond flour, flax seed meal and coconut flour to substitute for wheat. There is a substitute that Dr. Davis recommends in his cookbook to use Shirataki noodles. I haven't tried using it yet. Can't find any locally here. I probably will have to order some over the internet. You might be able to find them in your local grocery stores or Asian market. Amazon sells it and check these links that explains how to use it. http://www.konjacfoods.com/ http://www.genkiusainc.com/order/index.html http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/category/shirataki-noodles One of the side benefits to these noodles is weight loss :thumbsup2 and another is the amount of fiber they contain.

Will try to give you a call tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
We already talked about all of this and I am glad you have it posted here so I can come back to read it! :goodvibes I need to check out the recipes! I hope you have a great week my friend!

Hehe yes my name is Courtney, though I totally understand why you'd ask! :goodvibes
:wave2: HI COURTNEY!!! Glad to "officially" make your acquaintance! I will never forget your name. :) I am happy you are here! :goodvibes

Hi Judy, Enjoyed our talk yesterday and catching up with each other. Can't wait to see the pictures from your movie night and to see the yummy dishes that Christian made. I'm sure Rachel will do a great job with her choice too. So glad that your internet connection seems to be fixed this time. Praying for a good report from your Dad's doctor appointment on Wednesday, and for the family's needs. If we lived closer, I wouldn't mind helping cook and bake for you all with the new recipes I've been trying going wheat free.

Sandra, congratulations on the baby news!

Dawn, sorry about Maxine! These pups are our family members too. Hope you enjoy your time at the zoo in San Diego with your sisters.

Praying for everyone here!

Judy you really are amazing. I always feel welcome and you are a positive person. It is easy to be happy when things are going well, it takes a special person to do it when things aren't going well. Thanks for the example. :goodvibes

You are much to kind, I am blessed though to have so many folks who stop by, say hi and care about us.

Very close! We picked them up yesterday and I didn't get on and share then because it was such a LONG day. We had to be there to pick them up at 10am which meant hitting the road at 6am. Once we got there it was very hurry up and wait but we finally got to the kids cabins to see them. Then it was back on the road. The kids talked non step for the first 45 minutes. Overall I think they all had a really good experience. There were some issues but I think the good outweighed the bad and I think they all felt that way. Jonnie had a lot of fun but felt like he was being teased for needing special foods because of allergies. Knowing Jonnie someone mentioned the different food and he thought they were teasing and being mean. He has a hard time understanding the difference. Tessa really liked being a counselor but she had one camper and her mother who really tried her patience. She also had an emotional time. The kids were a mix between those with parents who had a service connected disability and those who had a parent KIA. Tessa had to stay strong and upbeat for the kids and not let her own emotions get the best of her. She told me her and her co counselor (who also had a dad with severe injuries and illnesses) cried together at night when the kids were asleep because it all just got to be too emotional. She does really want to go back and be a counselor next year and the head counselors really liked her and asked her to come back so that's great. Jenna had got pretty emotional too but being a camper she had access to a counselor and support groups. When we picked her up Jenna's sinus's were really bugging her and I gave her some allergy medicine but that knocked her out for the rest of the trip, she even slept most of the time we were at the restaurant when we stopped for lunch. She woke up 10 min before we got home and said she wished it was lunchtime because she finally felt like she could eat instead of sleep. The trip home included a detour to pick up something special for Jonnie. He has had an old android phone loaded with music, movies and apps that he uses during car trips and medical appointments but it broke on our fourth of July trip. John had told him to put it in his scooter basket while he did the outdoor games. When we loaded the scooter John forgot to take the basket off and the phone flew out. Well two days ago someone in my home school group posted a tablet for sale for a ridiculously low price. I contacted her asking if it worked and if the price she posted was right and she said it had been given to them and they had no use for it so she posted it for that price to bless someone who could use it. Well it was certainly a blessing for us and the timing was perfect because her location is normally way out of the way for us but wasn't a bad detour on the way home from camp.

As always sending prayers your way, Judy. Hoping you have a good day today and that Lisas cough turns out to be nothing.

Sandra, congratulations on the baby. I will be praying for an uneventful pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Okay, it is official, I can't count. :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

I am so happy overall it was a great experience, I am sure it brought many emotions to the forefront, I wish Tessa had someone she could talk to. How wonderful you were able to get Jonnie a replacement for his tablet. I know how important it was for him. Thanks for sharing thier camp experience with us! :goodvibes

No worries on my PTR! Your family needs the prayers more than we do right now.

Amanda
You are so sweet Amanda, Thanks for being here.
Judy, Hope ya'll are having a great weekend.

I was in urgent care yesterday with JJ. Today he is doing fine, but he gave me quite the scare yesterday. A new med was added to the mix. So far so good.

Glad JJ is ok after the scare!

Praying for Benjamin.
I am so excited for you, it will sort of feel like going home! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear all about it and see all of the pics! :cheer2: I am glad you are getting some nice weather it was a rough winter. I hope you have a fabulous week leading up to the festivities and work is not too much of a drag!

I LOVE this, how fun, colorful...and practical!!!!

The prayers will continue Sandra as you know. I am so incredibly excited that this is progressing well, what a journey you have had! YOu never shared too much, that is what I am here for! :goodvibes You know I truly know firsthand much of what you endured. August 14 is going to be a GREAT day! Please just take good care of yourself!

Just logged on and saw my PM!!! Yay!! I will catch up as I can. <3

ALICIA!!!! :welcome::welcome::welcome: I am so glad you found us, You check your PM's about as frequently as me...although I confess I have answered over a month later...Time just flies sometimes>

:welcome::welcome::welcome: Krysten! So glad you are here! :goodvibes I am praying for you and hope today is a happy day!. We feel incredibly blessed for our trip it is going to be so fun and amazing. The movie nights have been a great idea and it is fun, probably a bit different than some do them, but that is what is great about Disney...we can do what works for us. So glad to have you share in our fun. :goodvibes

Good morning, all!

Sandra, congratulations on the new blessing to come!!!

Dawn, so sorry for the loss of your dog. I am praying for you.

Praying for all the needs.

We got some surprise blessings Friday night!! We had to get a fifth ticket, since the deal was for four. While we are in line I notice it is military night. So we get to the window, hand over our voucher and Bill's military ID and now we have five lowerlevel seats for the price of two. Military plus their family was free but we just got the extra free one since we had already paid for the 4-for-2 deal. Bonus--it was firework Friday so we got an awesome show after the game. Which the Zephyrs won!

We don't know when he is leaving yet--the window rumors have changed three times already. It's soon, though. I am not looking forward to it. Especially since I've been spoiled having him here for the last almost 6 years. But the good news, is he is going somewhere "nice". Forgive me if I repeat myself at all.

Another blessing. I was getting the pics from our January trip from my Dad finally, and he found a terabyte drive stowed away. He pulled it out and told me to see what was on it and I could wipe it and have it. Well, what was on it was pictures and files from a laptop we had that died while we were in England! I have pictures back I thought we had lost!!!! And a new to me drive!

So, I think when Bill does leave, in addition to ramping up the sewing for Kaity's outfits for our October trip, I'll be working on my trip report and photobooks!

Judy, can't wait to hear about Rachel's movie night! I'm intrigued!

SANDRA a huge congratulations to you :) My prayers are with you for a healthy pregnancy. It's so great that you didn't have to deal w/ the fertility treatment as it's not fun at all (and we never got a baby out of it :*( ) I'm really excited for you and your family and can't wait to hear how your next appointment goes.

DAWN I am so very sorry for the loss of your baby. We just lost of cat of almost 18 years -- it was the hardest on Alexa who slept with him every night. Animals are family members and it takes a long time to ease the sorrow. My thoughts are with you during this tough time.

JUDY sorry I have just been skimming b/c I've been busy and it seems like most posts were replies. I can't wait to see pics of your latest movie nights. I am still working on laundry from our vacation!!! I didn't help that I worked almost every day last week and still have to normal loads like sheets and towels. And this afternoon I must make more laundry detergent b/c I ran out!

I haven't started PT yet (recall I have military health care which is the next best thing to socialized medicine -- care is great, just a lower process). My shoulder was good except for the days I worked. Spinning dials on a phoropter is wearing on one's shoulder. I still have a little residual from my sinus infection. Is that nasal mist better than the Neti Pot? I was using my Neti Pot, abs, and a steroid spray. And good ol' mucinex too! Hope Lisa is doing much better!

We did get to go to my sister's pool on the day I had off last week so that was fun -- they have 4 hrs per day where guests are allowed with passes. I hope she has another set of passes left so we can go again next month. And my sister babysat the kids Sat evening b/c dh and I had a work function and she took them to the beach.

So b/t work, catching up from vaca, being sick, etc., my house is a royal mess! I feel like I am never going to get caught up and back to a normal life, but I'll keep plugging away. All is good :)

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you -- I am always thinking of Christian and his health and job searching, Pete's car, your father (and so glad to hear the GOOD update), Lisa, and of course you who constantly runs ragged.

In skimming I did not see any definitive Dis plans -- do you have anything decided on?
