Sorry to hear that the girls haven't been feeling well. Hope they are both doing better now.

Just wanted to let you know that the new American Girl movie, Saige Paints The Sky, is going to be on Saturday night on NBC with Jane Seymour playing the grandmother.

I only have a minute, lots to do again. We had good news yesterday! Dad's PET scan showed "hot" areas in his back BUT that is a good thing the doctor said. He thinks the cancer is definitely shrinking and the areas showing up in the scan are places where Dad's bones are regenerating!!! That is amazing news! The plan is to continue this course of initial treatment, then switch to maintenance phase for his chemo. (That will stop one of the chemo drugs). Dad will have a repeat PET scan in approx. three months to ensure things are stable. I couldn't help but feel Pete's Dad was sharing a gift with us as he celebrated his birthday in heaven.

Please keep the prayers coming, Pete still desperately needs a new vehicle and Lisa is still feeling exhausted.

Reelmom, THANK YOU for posting the pics. LOVED them. I will be back for responses soon, I hope. Computer guy is coming out again later...I need time to research an alternative, I am tired of this.

I popped into the dis boards to send you a message and I was SO excited to see you all are going back to Florida!! That is so exciting and could not have happened to a nicer person!!

I got all caught up. I loved the Jungle Book Movie Night!! The meat thing made me laugh, how cute. Sorry to hear the kids have been feeling sick, that's no fun. Sending prayers to you and your family for your dad, the girls feeling better and a new car. I hope that these blessings will come soon.

You may be wondering what I stopped by to send you a message about. Well, I was so excited to open the mail a few days ago and get the book I made about Mallory's Wish Trip. I went to a website that turns website posts into a book. So I know have a hardcover book of our Pre-trip and Trip Report including all the picture. I would not have that it if it wasn't for you. You encouraged me to finish the trip report and were such a great friend to me. Now I have a complete keepsake our family will treasure forever!! Thank you so much for that!!!

Okay I am "all in" to following your trip report!! I can't wait to see the next movie night, hear the plans for Florida and keep up with how you all are doing. That is SO cool you are going to volunteer at GKTW!! As a wish family do you also get to spend a day there? I think I remembered hearing something like that when we were there.

Three MD appts today and several unexpected tests. Lisa has a confirmed serious sinus infection, her face is full of pus/infection and she is quite ill. This is after three weeks of heavy duty antibiotics. They have changed her antibiotics and added steroids. We will return to the pulmonologist and hematologist on Monday where she will have immune function testing. For those who are praying~THANK YOU!

Great news about your dad. I'm so sorry to hear that Lisa is not doing ok. Hopefully they will get things straightened out for her on Monday. I just feel so badly for her that she has to suffer through the weekend with such a nasty infection. I hope the different antibiotics and steroids get her some relief soon and start working.
