I had a very nice Friday afternoon! I went ahead and rode on my stationary bike and then I went and delivered a meal for a friend of mine who's son just got out of the hospital!! Now I'm getting ready for a night alone as PHillip heads out to go fishing!!

How about you C...how was the rest of your afternoon?

My friday wasn't bad. got most of the downstairs somewhat clean... thanks to Allison who is a great little helper

i didn't get the floors mopped... but other than that i did get done with my list

I then took a lovely 2 hr nap... and soon I'm heading to the craft room for a while. I need to at least paint the 'lollipops' today.

They are having a 'class meet' at the gym for the non-competition kids (many are preschoolers up to about 8-9 yrs)

I'm helping with decorations. The theme is Candyland. I'm making big lollipops to use for march in signs. Plus some gum drops, starmints, gingerbreadmen, and candy canes that I'll cut with my Cricut for decorations

Sounds like everyone has had a busy Friday -- I made ADRs at the crack of dawn, finished a book, mixed up cookie dough, took a nap, finally scrapbooked the King Tut pictures from February, and went to dinner at my parents. I have commandeered the computer for the rest of the night. I have DISsing to do!

That's what happens when I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning -- I become a whirlwind of productivity.

I am not telling -- I have to save something for the PTR. I will say that I only made two because Charles said we should just plan on nibbling and drinking at the booths. I am fine with that. I want one of those Festival cards on a bracelet.

They are these little gift cards on a slinky bracelet (kind of like the Photopass cards at the water parks) that you can wear around your wrist -- then, you can just use it to buy your goodies at each of the booths. The cards have the Food and Wine Logo on them as well. I am inordinately excited about the prospect of getting one of these -- I am the type of person marketing firms live for!

I think Christine may have gotten one last year.

Hi Gnomies,

Happy Saturday! It is actually sunny here and the forecast is for it to remain that way! So I will be heading to the pool in a few hours. My beach bag is packed with the Unofficial Guide and a new guide book that just came out - Mousejunkies. Plus all the usually celebrity gossip magazines. I can't wait!
