Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

I'm arriving Monday Sept 27th and leaving Sunday Oct 4th:goodvibes

Oh yippee. We overlap almost the whole time. I'll already be there when you get there and I'm leaving Saturday afternoon. Not that we have to spend the entire time together... don't want you to get sick of me before gnomefest! :sad2:

I really can't wait!! I'm hoping to do some major planning this weekend. I need something to look forward to!

I'm also going to do some DVC number crunching. There is a contract that is calling my name. :rolleyes1

OH BTW... katie and CP...we got our 1st 2 'probable' pig flu patients today at the hospital.... not to worry....I'm keeping enough Tamiflu hidden for me:lmao:

P
:lmao:
 for the rough day. I've been having those all week! I'm ready for a good day.

Thank you!!! Most people look at me as though I have 2437428 eyes when I say stuff like that! But I really believe I have had several past lives! I think you have to learn all of life's lessons before you move on to Heaven...but without getting too heavy, I also think I have been famous in a past life, have been British at least once, and lived in New Orleans when people were just starting to come over from Europe. Weird huh?:rotfl2: What do you think your past lives were?
I think I was one of the mill girls in a cotton factory for sure. I have this absolute fascination with it and when I read about it I sometimes think I was there before.

OK you married ladies...Do you ever have times when your hubby isn't doing anything unusual but he just drives you nuts?

Tonight Greg was talking about and commenting on various things and all I could do is smile while in my head I was screaming SHUT UP!!!! He was driving me insane for no particular reason and I just wanted him to shut the **** up!
::yes::::yes::::yes:: Katie, we must be on the same wave length because last night I was ready to rip Marc's head off for no reason. I actually stormed out of the living room at one point because I couldn't stand it anymore. :lmao:

I am determined to have a better day today. I am sick of being cranky.

Paula, sorry you had a rough day yesterday. Hope things improve today.

C, very exciting about DVC possibilities. I had a chiropractor appointment this morning and he was telling me how much he loves being in DVC

CP, bummer about the accident. Sounds like one of those things that wasn't entirely Charles' fault but he will get the blame for, that sucks! Wishing you a calm weather day today!

Stace, I hope your teeth are feeling OK today.

LL, hope your day improves!

Jen, we miss you! I can't wait for you to be done with school

Jess, when do you leave on your trip?

Hi Julez!

Jess, when do you leave on your trip?
We're debating it. We have to put the dog in boarding on saturday morning because they're not open on sundays. Our trip starts sunday, check in is at 3 and we check out on friday. Blake wants to go home on saturday and drive to his house, however, I'm trying to say no to that, it's an hour and half EAST of I-95 and yes it may be south about 2 and a half hours, but I just don't want to deal with his family AGAIN. His sister has got it out for me now and that's the last thing I need now, FMIL and FSIL drama. SO, hopefully we're leaving sunday and driving straight down :goodvibes

Hopefully you will win this battle Jess! :thumbsup2

I'm arriving Monday Sept 28th and leaving Sunday Oct 4th:goodvibes

I'm so sad I'll miss you! :sad1:

Yes, all the time. That's when I go sleep in Ebin's room if he's not over! :scared:

Very fun detective work going on here at work ladies! I'll have to fill you in our next chat. Did anyone chat last night? I was so busy I couldn't pop in after all, and only caught the last 10 minutes of Dancing! Oh well. Anywhoo- going to lunch.

:goodvibes

Hey lovely ladies---I am not even going to attempt to try to catch up----too much chatter to wade through!!! I hope all is well for everyone! I have been ridiculously busy and haven't been able to chat with all my lovely DISers....this has been so sad!!!! I have missed you all so much!

What have I been doing??? Well, first of all,
--helping my mom recover from her surgery--she is doing great btw
--busy with the follow-up from my women's retreat---this has been time consuming, but so worthwhile
--helping out some good friends by watching and caring for their babies
--Taking care of all the end-of-the-year school/dance madness for Megs--her preschool graduation is next Wednesday and we are also getting close to her recital as well
--we got Gold Passes this year for Kings Island (a local theme park) and have spent many weekend days there already
--PLUS, Tom and I have been working on packing and readying our home because we are putting it on the market soon.

I FEEL LIKE I HAVE GONE CRAZY!!!! Running around like a headless chicken doesn't even come close!

We are still thinking about going to WDW in September, but unfortunately our minds are somewhat fixed on selling the house and moving right now. I think once we get a better grasp on that situation, we will be ready to book something.....let's hope!

I hope you are all well---feel free to catch me up!!!!

Hey LL...remember I told you about my Eric and Ariel Barbie doll? I found an image from somebody on ebay selling theirs, and since I haven't been home in a while to get them from my parents attic, here's the pic for ya!

I don't remember having Max come with Eric, but these are definitely what my dolls looks like. Plus, Ariel came with the pink dress that she wears at dinner in the movie!

Oh girls, I found a joke for you all today, hope you enjoy it! :thumbsup2

Things are not always as they seem…

Sometimes you just have to laugh… out loud.

"Sally Smith's" schoolwork assignment was to draw a picture of what she wanted to be:
iwanttobelikemommy.jpg

(Here's the reply the teacher received the following day)
Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.

I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.
From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Smith

Starting Book 5 today LL and CP!
Thank GOD Debbie learned a lesson...I was ready to throw my book!
A little weird about Bill not technically being the last 2 books, but I STILL wish Alcide would come into the picture for Sookie now that Debbie is gone! :goodvibes

YES, on the news they are now reporting that we are up to 36 probable cases of piggy flu! (and one in the next county over and the news is making sure that we know that it is a college student from here)

I find it interesting that they are clarifying the 2 H1N1 deaths in Texas. One was a child from Mexico...OK, I'll give them that one. The second is a woman with "underlying medical conditions"...hmm, I think that one counts!

Well, the boys and I walked downtown and met Greg for lunch. It was nice but very windy on the way home. Yep, storms are on the way (but probably not severe, hopefully CP can say the same thing)

Hi Jen! Nice to see you pop in!

Jess, love the Eric doll. I really want one. ;) You know what I really really really want off of Ebay. A magic nursery baby doll. Do you remember those?
I've seen that joke before, but it's a good one. I laugh everytime I see it!

Katie, I thought that was odd about the woman from Texas too. :confused3

Sounds kinda familiar. I was a really really big tomboy when I was younger, probably up until about 8th or 9th grade. I had a jeep (not the barbie kind), played with all teenage mutant ninja turtles and played soccer with the boys. So I wasn't much into baby dolls, but I did have Polly Pocket, Quints (which I still have all of) and the little Pet Shop toys :goodvibes

I never had the Quints but my cousins did so I still got to play with them. The Magic Nursery Baby was the one where you took the outfit that it came in and dissovled it in water and there would be a packet inside plastic saying if you baby was a boy or a girl and with an outfit. You could also have it say that it was twins, in which case they sent you another baby doll! I wish I had kept mine. Some people sell them on Ebay where you can still dissolve their clothes, I want one!

AH! I remember that one now!! I pulled the picture up on ebay and I got it once you said the thing about dissolving the outfit to see what the sex was. I'm pretty sure I just gave mine away to Good Will the last time I went home. Being an only child unfortunately, my mom saved ALL of my stuff, and my dad wants me to weed some of it out before I have to take most of it with me when I move into my own house

I wish I had saved more. My mom had a daycare so when I was done, it went to the daycare. Some of the things I wish I had still had.
