Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Heaven on a plate! Paula can probably describe it better, but it is cake with cream and some sort of liquer in the layers. When done right it is light as air and sinfully delicious!

I think the cake is traditionally lady fingers soaked with coffee liquor then the pudding like cream and dusted with cocoa. SO GOOD!!

I don't know if I'd like Tiramasu because of the coffee-ish flavor. I don't like coffee.

Okay creative Gnomies, give me some ideas for a WISH thread name. I think I want to start one so I can stay motivated in training for the 1/2 Marathon!

Sorry LL, I am no help because:
1 - I'm not very creative and
2 - I just had a midnight truffle blizzard and it is AMAZING. I will not be losing any weight while this is the blizzard of the month :rotfl2:

Was it good? Marc picked Butterfinger for his. I'm toying between Choc. Covered Cherry and Cookie Dough. Yum!

It is blended with the cocoa fudge which is a little darker and richer than their normal chocolate, then they add chunks resembling the melt-in-your-mouth truffle filling.

I thought it was delicious but I could only eat 1/2 of mine because it is so rich (that just means that when I get home from PTA tonight, I have a treat awating me). Having said that, I would not choose Choc Covered Cherry and I'm not overly fond of cookie dough so maybe our tastes are different enough that you wouldn't like it. If you like a rich, dark chocolate truffle, I'd say it's worth a try.

It does sound good, I'm afraid it might be "too much" even though that is very hard to accomplish with chocolate and ice cream. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: Thanks for the description though! :thumbsup2

I believe the lady fingers are soaked in espresso.... but its not real 'coffee' tasting:confused3 it's there but between the cream and marscapone and chocoloate...yum yum yum!!!
