Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Sometimes when I think I am going to have to open one of those cans of you know what, I get a little sad when it's easier than I thought. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Me too! There's all sorts of adrenaline and nothing to do with it.

I just finished Dead and Gone today! It took me two days to read it. I think I am still in shock. You must read it soon, LL!

WHICH REMINDS ME........Jess! I received the book today!

I will read it soon, CP. I think I have to finish what I am reading currently though, I can't read two things at once.

I am the same way.

Okay, I am off to bake blueberry muffins for breakfast tomorrow. My dad's blueberries are coming in, and he has had Chelsea and Connor out there like field hands picking them. I do love summer and all the produce we get from him.

Yes! I totally felt that way! "Luckily" I still have ADR day ahead of me and if the online tool doesn't work and/or I can't get Cali Grill then all bets are off! ;)

113- that is hot. But I would take it. It still doesn't feel like summer here!

Same arrival time as before and think I actually end up with a few extra hours at WDW on the back end. Flight departs at 5:30 on Sat so guess ME will pick me up at 3:30? Or is it 3 hours ahead and therefore 2:30? Either way will get in my farewell champagne toast! :)

CP-It only took me about 2 or 3 days to read it too! I can understand still being in shock! Told you there's a few deaths that catch you off guard!

LL-Glad you got the book! Yes yes let us know how you like it!

Katie-Good luck on the interview results!! And SO happy the tornado is over, so scary!:guilty:

C-Woo Hoo for getting your flight changed!! :woohoo:

Hi JJ, MM, Stace and Julez-Hope you're doing well today! :goodvibes

Mmmm...blueberries. :cloud9:

Being from Maine, you probably know all about blueberries. :goodvibes

Welcome home, Jen! It has been crazy hot in the South this week.

I SO want to move in with you guys. Please adopt me?! I'll make you my famous cinnamon rolls from the can. :flower3:

Bring your canned cinnamon rolls (which we all love) and your DVC contract (when you get it) and come on down!

I almost PMed you a couple of times, Jess -- especially at the beginning and the end -- but I couldn't tear myself away from the book long enough.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the interview guys! I'll let you know when I hear something

On a happy note, after practically an hour on the phone today, I was able to get my flights changed back to direct flights! :yay: Keep your fingers crossed for no more changes!

:cool1: :thumbsup2

What does your dad do CP? Blueberries are one of the best things about our annual Michigan trip in August (boy, there sure is a seasonal difference huh!) Patrick and Greg have been talking about blueberries for several weeks now. My Aunt always has a ton of berries along with blueberry cream dessert, pies and breads! We typically bring 10 or 15 pounds home to freeze and when our freezer went out awhile back, the few bags we had left were sacrificed so we will probably go with 20 or 25 pounds this year to make sure we don't run out again!

Good to have you home Jen! Heat index was mid 100's early afternoon. The front that brought the storms dropped the temp to the high 60's which sounds nice but the humidity is 96%. Tomorrow is back up into the 90's again UGH!

It still doesn't feel like summer here!

sush up you!

Mmmm blueberries. Back when I was about 12 my grandparents found this U Pick Farm in Pennsylvania and my mom and I have been going every year since then for apples and blueberries. I've also been for peaches and cherries and their little shop has the BEST homemade cherry and blueberry pies! My mom is planning a trip up there the 2nd weekend in July and Blake is coming with us, he has only been during apples. Last year we picked 16 pounds of blueberries! So can't wait! :goodvibes

My dad is retired now. He spent 22 years in the Navy, then went to Cleveland to work at a nuclear power plant there. Now, he is retired and does all sorts of things -- he was never one to be able to sit still. He restores vintage John Deere tractors, does a lot of contracting carpenter work, keeps bees, and has a huge garden that he sells a lot of the produce to a local farmers' market. I love summer because it means blueberries (and tons of them), peaches, green beans, corn, summer squash, and zucchini. Yum!

Mmmmm, the farm sounds fun and delicious! I love homemade pies, but haven't figured out how to make my own yet.

That's it, CP. I am going home and packing my bags and YOU are going to adopt me. ;)

Blueberries are a hot thing in Maine. It's so awesome in late summer to be able to drive pass the blueberry patches, they are pretty. :thumbsup2

Good Morning Gnomies!

How is everyone today?

Good Morning Gnomies!

How is everyone today?

:lmao: Come on!

I remember when we went to Maine in the summer and seeing all the blueberries! I would love to go back there to visit one day -- it was so pretty up there!

I am awake far too early, but I finished my update and fed the dogs, so I am feeling productive. :lmao:

How are you this morning?

I am very good! Especially since I didn't fall asleep until after 1AM again.

You should come visit Maine again. I love Maine. Sigh. I'm working on the 5 year plan to get back up there. If I can't convince Marc the South is the place to be then Maine it is!

You are very productive today. I haven't done much yet except get to work. :lmao:

Ugghhh, I don't know how you are managing with your insomnia -- I would be a walking zombie!

We spent the whole time on the coast -- it was so beautiful -- not to mention all that delicious lobster!

Well, at least you are showered and dressed and have left the house -- I am still in my pajamas.

I'm not sure either. I was really keyed up last night so I'm not surprised that it took me forever to fall asleep. Hopefully this means I can go to bed early tonight.

Oh lobster, how I love thee! I could seriously eat lobster everyday. I love it. Lobster rolls, lobster bisque, lobster anything makes me giddy.

Good Morning Gnomies!!!

Well I too am still in pajamas YAY...that is such a great feeling. However I have been productive, I have cleaned out the car (in my pjs none the less LOL) and started laundry, put up new curtains (darker ones so it would be cooler in the living room) and started to work on dinner!!

I am so enjoying this summer vacation thing LOL!!! So nice to just enjoy a peaceful day!

Hmmmm...blueberries, maybe I will pick up some of those when I go shopping this afternoon for groceries, we really don't have a lot of food in the house right now LOL!

I'm not a huge seafood fan but I do some love me some fried fish and I'm a huge shrimp lover YAY! :thumbsup2
