We took the Jeep Tour, which gave a really great overview of not only the "city" area, but the rural people of Madeira - some of whom don't come "down" for months - the highlight was snacking in a local pub with plenty of the area's residents - and a barkeeper who recognised our appreciation of their cuisine, and invited us to share in thier own meal. We are SO looking forward to visiting Madeira again.
I was hoping someone would get it!
Well, guess it at least gives you a clue as to my age

One of our great story-tellers. His Dad was no slouch, either
So, in that spirit, and continuing intros -
Me - Ken, retired, born and raised in NYC, now living in northern NJ. Walt, WDW, and
DCL fan.(Seriously, as my tag asks, does ANYBODY remember the GEnie boards? Pre-www. , pre-AOL, 300 baud modem board

with really highly-informed Disney folks).
DW, Debbie, age 44 (again

)(JUST KIDDING!!!) school nurse, Disney-holic, with no signs of recovery.
LOVED the EBTA in 2010 (We remember you, Kristi!) Losing the 6 hours, not so much. Will be trying to do both the EBTA and the WBTA in 2013, but if it comes to one, it will be this one. Would LOVE it to come WB into New York Harbor - it's where I have always spent a lot of my time. Not likely, since I believe the St. Maarten date is leaked, and besides, need that Castawy Cay fix before getting off the ship.
See you real soon!
