No wbta 2013

And yes Claire patience isn't your strong point, but you have such good organizational skills:dance3:

margaret

:rotfl2: It really isn't my strong point! I drive Lee crazy both with my impatience and organizational skills. ;) :lmao: :rotfl:

Just found this thread...Count us in! We were on the 2010 WBTA and would love to do another with all our old friends and new ones.

:welcome: Sam & Joan.

Although many of us have sailed together before, please join in chatting with us here & on the Facebook page....we don't bite! It is so much fun and helps countdown the days until the cruise. :goodvibes

OH YES!!!!! ::yes:: Tortola is one of the Caribbean ports, along with St Maarten & Castaway Cay.....well at least it was on previous WBTA's. :)

Oh, not worried. Ive had my rabies vaccination!

Will keep my fingers crossed for JVD...one of our most memorable excursions several Disney cruises ago.

I really wanting to go on the TA but the cost of air backs me off. We are visiting my husbands family that lives in Croatia next Nov and tickets are at least 1200 a piece. Then to turn around 11 months later and spend $2000 for 2 one way tickets has me a little backed off. If we do come I want to come in 2 days ahead of time. How pricy are the hotels. Lucky me has $1800 on hold. But it will also mean no cruinsing from march 2012 until then what to do. I want to see the other stuff too. Before I jump ship too..

You can get a hotel in Barcelona for about 90 - 100 euros per night ( 2 people )

You can also get cheaper airfare through the discount websites. Try 1800flyeurope.com or cheapoair.com. I got our tickets from Orlando to Barca for about $550 each.

I just heard from my friend Winnie that there might possibly be another WBTA in 2013! I'm so excited! I'm definitely in! I'm kind of surprised that none of my FB friends didnt' tell me about it, but I'm sure it slipped their minds! Please add me to the list Claire! I'm a little behind on my newsletters but hoping to be caught up soon and I can concentrate on getting ready for the WBTA in 2013! :thumbsup2 It will be good to see all my friends that I made last time.......hope we get the same wait staff....they were wonderful! I KNOW they will be so excited to see me! I'll be checking in from time to time guys! Can't wait!!!:cool1::cool1:

Paddington wondered where you have been hiding and says he has better things for you to do than join this crowd on the cruise!

I would join him Kirby because you may end up in the water swimming for home!

:thumbsup2

I finished this and got well into your TR yesterday. Glad to hear you have tips about hotels. I'm loving every word, and it's just getting me more worked up about this (possible) cruise.

Lots of folks might think we spend way...too much time on the boards, but we just love all things Disney. Also looking at an ABD right now, and have several trips to the World on the schedule. DVC helps make lots of it possible. I notice from your posts that at least some of you are with DVC. One of the best decisions we ever made.

Saw mention of the Champagne Girls and EllaEnchanted. I was at one of her events on a previous cruise. It was wonderful!:dance3:

Well, I appreciate you looking out for a cruise mate for me babydiver! :thumbsup2 Paddington is more than welcome to join us, but I'm also going with my uncle Baloo. Where he is living is just a jungle, so he's agreed to come for a couple of weeks of pampering!

I'm not too partial to swimming, so think I'll take a rain check on that! :goodvibes Looking really forward to a couple of fruity drinks and some sun & fun on Castaway! I've told Baloo about how wonderful it is, and he is exited about going!

Thanks again for your consideration in helping me make other friends! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! You can be sure I will having glowing reports about all my friends!

Hello all. Still anxiously waiting on some kind of news. Well come on DCL we all are on pins and needles here waiting on your announcement for this cruise. The anxiety is killing me!!!!! And, the TA vets say we need Venice thrown in there too, I'm all for that. I've cast my vote for Venice.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Would love to see this wonderful city.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Glad you are enjoying my tales of our adventures .... I do like writing up my trip reports as it is a way of prolonging the enjoyment and reliving the memories ... may still decide to write one for 2011, although it will be a bit sketchy in parts.

where is the one you've already written? I would love to read it :)

:tiptoe: <----this is me lurking :rotfl:

What were some things that people did in Madeira? We took the hop-on, hop-off bus to tour around and then did the Brandywine visit. Just curious as to what else we could look forward to! :)

I Loved Madeira - and I didn't do anything. Funchal is rich with detail. Tile work. wood work. beautiful cutwork embroidery and leather. streets paved in black and white stones in different patterns. gardens. Spent HOURS walking and then taxied back for portugese lunch at the buffet. I KNOW there was more to see had I taken a tour, but what I saw made me happy.
