he came off as pretty weird - especially when he was asked why they were getting divorced and said "Nic knows."
She was asked and said she had no idea, but would try to remain civil for the children's sake. She ended up very likeable and sympathetic. He ended up looking vindictive, petty and a word you don't usually associate with men that begins with a "b" and ends with an "h".

Sue - I thought I was the only one who remembered the "Nic knows" quote. He was sooo spooky when he said it - that's when I started to disliked him.

And, I'm sorry, but it's just creepy that she came out pregnant just a few weeks after they met. You know that was done on purpose.

This is all part of the "deal" Katie would get loads of perks and a huge boost to her movie career. IF
she acted all gaga over Tom, remarkably got pregnant right away - all so Tom could convince people that he is not gay.

Whatever Tom. Someday the truth will come out. Katie will write a book and end up hawking it through "Oprahs Book Club"

On a politically correct level, you are right, who cares? But there are a whole lot of people out there who will discriminate at the box office just because the leading man is gay.

And to be perfectly honest with you, when a gay actor portrays a straight person, I find it somewhat unbelievable - like when Anne Heisch played opposite Harrison Ford in that movie where they crash a plane on a deserted island, all I could think about the entire movie is that she is gay (or was at the time) and kissing a man.

Tom Cruise’s future father-in-law apparently isn’t a happy camper.

Katie Holmes’s dad is said to be “very upset” because his unmarried daughter is pregnant with Cruise’s child. And, what’s more, the devoutly Catholic Martin Holmes reportedly is none-too-thrilled about his daughter’s involvement in her husband-to-be’s controversial religion, Scientology.

“[Martin Holmes] was very upset and got into a real spat with Katie,” the forthcoming issue of Life & Style Weekly quotes “a close friend” of Cruise as saying. “Tom had promised her parents that they would do the right thing and get married before any baby came along.” After scolding his daughter, according to the mag, Martin Holmes berated Cruise by declaring “You’re no good.”

“He said he and his wife were very upset by the news,” according to the source, “and demanded the pair get married quickly.”

Furthermore, a member of Christ the King Church, which the Holmes family belongs to, told L&S that Cruise and Holmes’ publicist, his sister Lee Anne DeVette, sent a letter to parishioners, asking them not to talk to reporters. Although a family friend told the mag that the Holmes family is thrilled by the news of a grandchild, they’re also concerned.

“It seemed like Katie was being controlled by Scientologists,” the friend told L&S. “Now they wonder if it’s a Rosemary’s Baby situation, where Katie is being groomed to provide Tom with a child.”

Mr Cruise...come out of the closet! I never watch South Park, but my kids called me in to see that one! I never laughed so hard in my life.

how did he get her pregnant! He wasn't able to do it with 2 previous wives.........Mimi Rogers went on to have children, Nicole supposedly miscarried but there were also rumors that the reason for the split was that she had had an affair. It just seems odd that all of a sudden he meets Katie and boom bang baa she is pregnant!

Oh this might be a gossipy thread, but they opened themselves up for it by being so out there (on many levels). I think it is human nature to talk about things common to each other.

If Tom is sterile then how in the world did Katie get pregnant??? A donor perhaps.........ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.............I wouldn't do that for someone I just met.

They were hysterical, really mocking John travolta, tom cruise and r. kelly (whats with that new song of his, where he's a she or she's a he, i'm confused!) The scientology episode was crazy too, with the warning at the bottem of the screen that Scientologist really believe this stuff! Whats with the aliens and volcanos? Really funny stuff!

This speaker my cousin's saw said that Scientologist believe that the human race was spun off from aliens who landed here. One of the reasons that Tom is so anti psychology is because they believe psychologist are in cahoots with the aliens to keep us uninformed to the true nature of our being.

i think her family let her in on the little secret that hes a nut..and she is in denial..but she will see the light!

he really is a nut and control freak...he made who ever he was with last were flat shoes beacause she was so much taller than him! Along with other creepy things that would cause me to just laugh and put on a pair of stilettos!

You know in some pictures she looks really pregnant and in others hardly any baby bump at all...maybe she screws up which padding she is supposed to use?
